The Confession

~ 3 Days Later ~

You smirked to yourself. It had been your third day in death city. You and Lord Death had gotten much closer, to your satisfaction. You knew that soon you could convince him to slip off his mask. Today the two of you were going to go sight seeing around the whole city, to go shopping and things like that. This would be the perfect time to make a move on him...

Lord Death was waiting for you at the entrance to the Academy, which you just flew up, being a Kishin and all, you had more powers than any human could imagine to have. As you landed in front of him, he waved happily.

"Hello~~! Today we're gonna explore my basement!! There's all this cool stuff that I've forgotten about that's down there~" Lord Death said cheerfully, and you nodded, smirking, and you stuffed your hands in your pockets as the shinigami lead you to the basement.

As Lord Death showed you around the rooms, you realised how much you really loved him... Just the way he talked and did things, it made you fall for him even more... Almost to the point that you would want to marry the cute little bugger on the spot, but you didn't want to admit that to anyone.

"You know, you've been awfully silent this whole time...~ And I've got a question to ask of you~" Lord Death suddenly snapped you out of your daydreaming and thoughts, and you realised how close you two were. His mask was only a few centimetres away from his face.

"What is it? Feel free to ask anything~" You tried to peer through the void of his eye holes in his mask, but even then you couldn't see his eyes. Did he really have a face under there? You couldn't really tell at the moment. But you just had to be patient.

"Do you really want to know what's under my mask? Are you willing to be forever scarred?" Lord Death asked, his hands going to his mask. You gasped. This was the moment you and been waiting for. You nodded immediately.

"Of course!! That's one of the reasons I'm still here!! I want to see what's under that cute mask of yours~" You purred to him, and he giggled and nodded, his hands wrapping around his mask.

"Well then, Here we go!! Just remember, I'm putting all my trust in you by doing this!!" Lord Death exclaimed, as he slipped it off, revealing his pale, handsome face. His hair was quote overgrown, just touching his shoulders, and he had three full sanzu lines, going through all of his hair in a ring, he had beautiful glowing golden eyes, and his lips were plump and pink.

Your eyes widened in shock.  He was so handsome and stunning, that you couldn't believe your eyes. Your cheeks went redder than ever, as your heart just grew with your love for him. You were soon in a lovestruck daze that you couldn't snap yourself out of.

"W...Wow... You look amazing... More amazing than I imagined... Lord Death... There is something I need to confess to you..." You looked down, and Lord Death chuckled at your red face, moving slightly closer, seeing how nervous and embarrassed you had suddenly become. It wasn't like you.

"Yes~?" Lord Death's voice was so smooth and deep without that mask, that you just melted even more, just wanting to be in his arms then and there. But you withheld your romantic urges towards him just for now. You had been waiting for so long to tell him this...

"I've liked you for a long time... In a romantic way... Even if it may be forbidden... I love you... With all of my black... Kishin heart... Even though you may not feel the same way... I just wanted to tell you that..." You quickly turned away from him, hiding your Scarlett face behind your hands.

Only to be turned around, back to him, and your hands removed from your face. Lord Death cupped your cheeks in his giant fake hands, with a beautiful smile on his face, a slight blush on his cheeks.

"Well... May I try something, to check if my feelings for you are real...?" He asked gently, and you slowly nodded, still in shock that this was happening. Was this just one of your wild dreams? It felt so real...

Lord Death then leaned forward, gently kissing your lips, and they instantly melded together like puzzle pieces. You melted in his arms, slowly kissing back, your heart exploding in his chest, as did his, making him smile and blush, his arms slowly going around your waist. You finally realised what was happening, and so your usual self took over, and you wrapped your arms around his waist, much to his surprise. You pulled away from the kiss to whisper against them.

"So this was some grand reunion, huh? Now I'm never going to leave your side." Lord Death gasped and grinned, whispering back against your lips as well, his arms going around your neck, despite your and his height.

"I would love that... We will be together for eternity..." The two of you kissed heatedly, as Lord Death slipped the two of you through the nearest mirror, so you could both have some private time, if you know what I mean~
