Male! Reader x Lord Death One-Shot

The Date~

// I'm so sorry for not updating for so long~!! But I've got a great idea now, so I thought I would update it now~ I'll try updating it once every 1-2 weeks from now on.

Lord Death was extremely nervous. His hands were jittering, his whole body was shaking. Why, everyone noticed the fact that he was so nervous, but he insisted that he was fine. He was finally, after dating you for a few weeks, he had finally brought up the courage, to ask you on a date. As you entered the Death Room, looking as attractive and stunning as ever, He felt all the nerves that he had been trying to make vanish, return and grow stronger. He had never felt this nervous before. He hadn't even been this nervous when Kid was born, or created.

You walked straight up to him, with a huge smirk that usually rested on your face there.

"Hey Lord Death~!! You look hella nervous. What's been goin' on?" You asked, wrapping your arms around his neck, chuckling at his nerves. Lord Death gasped, his eyes underneath his mask going wide.

"N-Nothing!! Nothing at all!!" Lord Death stuttered, but you knew differently. You chuckled more, pulling both of your bodies closer. Lord Death kept on trying to insist that everything was fine. But You just shook your head in disagreement.

"Heh, don't try to hide it~ Hurry up and tell me what's wrong already!!" You exclaimed, stuffing your hands in your pocket and grinning. Lord Death knew that he couldn't avoid this now.. Lord Death then nervously chuckled, slipping his mask off. Lord Death's eyes glowed, as he took your hands. You smirked, having a feeling that you knew what he was going to say next.

"U-Um... W-Will you... go out on a d-date with me...? I-I've already p-planned it all o-out..." Lord Death mumbled, a deep red blush soon adorning your cheeks. You blushed slightly, laughing at how shy and nervous he looked. Oh how adorable he looked like, all flustered like this. You gave his hands a gentle squeeze, nodding instantly.

"Of course~!! You cute lil Reaper!! So what time will it be~? and where?" You asked, curiously. Lord Death smiled slightly, seeming to have regained a bit of confidence back. Lord Death gave you an appreciated squeeze back.

"I was thinking around six~? But the location is a surprise!!" Lord Death exclaimed cheerfully, looking into your eyes. You did the same. You looked as casual and stylish as ever. Almost enough to make the Reaper swoon at the sight of you. But He kept his cool, somehow.

"Oh~! I love surprises! I have to get ready! I gotta get out of these sexy clothes into even sexier clothes to make my sexiness stand out!" You grinned, pecking his lips, going through the mirror. Since after you two had 'done it', you were able to go through the mirrors by yourself, somehow. Not like you cared how. You loved travelling using them.

Lord Death looked down nervously as you left. He quickly slipped his mask back on, as well as the hood. He tried to calm down his nerves, but they had returned and were stronger than ever. He looked into the mirror in the centre of his room, checking to see if his mask was straight or not. He nodded to himself when he saw it was.

Lord Death grabbed out a white bowtie, with a Death skull in the middle, putting it perfectly on him. Lord Death also grabbed out roses. Now he looked perfect. And with half an hour to spare! Lord Death sighed happily, even as his son walked into the Death Room.

"Father-" Kid started, before he saw his Father, wearing that bowtie and holding those roses. Kid's face went white, and he pointed at Lord Death.

"Are you... Going on a date?" He asked, rather calmly. Lord Death sweatdropped a bit, but nodded. He looked down to the roses. They were in perfect condition. Kid sighed. At least his Father had made sure his tie and roses were symmetrical.

"All I can say is good luck I guess... But just be careful." Kid said seriously as per usual, walking away, and telling his two weapons to follow. Liz was happy and fangirling slightly about You and Lord Death going on a date. Patty was oblivious to what was happening, but smiled and hummed happily none of the less.

Lord Death turned around, only to see you in a sexy outfit, and posing for him. You winked, in the most sexiest pose possible for him.

"What do you think~?" You purred.

There was a moment of silence.

Before Lord Death nosebleed through the hole in his mask, making you snicker, as you remained in that pose for a little while longer. You soon walked closer to him, as he had to lift his mask, to stop his now bleeding nose. You smirked at him, watching as he blocked his nose up with tissues, sniffling through them cutely.

"Oh, you don't know how adorable you are, Lord Death~" You whispered, leaning up, pressing your lips against him in a happy, romantic kiss. Lord Death instantly blushed, but kissed back of course. You continued kissing the flustered Reaper, until you ran out of breath, which took a while. But when you did pull away, your lover has the most dazed, happy, and flustered expression on his face.

You blushed slightly, pecking his lips over and over until he snapped out of it, going red, responding back to your pecks with one of his own. You blushed a bit more, smiling happily, and looking up at him, glancing to his bowtie for a moment.

That is, Until you had a beautiful bouquet of roses shoved in your face from the said Reaper. You chuckled, moving them slightly away, as you heard Lord Death stutter.

"T-These are for y-you!! I g-grew them myself! I h-hope you like t-them..." Lord Death quickly looked down, as You smelt them. You grinned. They smelt wonderful. You looked back up to them. He had put in so much hard work for you... and Only you. You felt your heart swell in happiness. You took in a breath, and hugged him tight in one hand the other having a firm hold on the roses. You took in another sniff of the roses.

"Thank you so much~!! They're so beautiful and smell wonderful!! Now, are we walking to the place, or are we going through the mirrors?" You smiled wide now, as you now held his hand. Lord Death had lowered his mask down as you grabbed his hand. Lord Death looked as if he was thinking for a moment.

"Hmmm... I think we should walk!!" Lord Death exclaimed, then added on quickly, "It's fine~!! The roses are just for you!! That's why I grew them!!" Lord Death giggled, as you walked side by side, your hands intertwined. Your smile never left your lips, as you two walked through the halls of the Academy. Both of your bodies were quite close. You could feel people's eyes on you, but didn't care at all.

During the walk to The Date, you two talked about many things. Many topics that shouldn't be repeated, but they spoke about them anyway. You loved asking questions that made him fluster. You were either smirking or grinning the whole way to the location.

You two stopped at Deathbucks Cafe.

You looked up, sparkles appearing in your eyes, as you quickly looked to Lord Death, your grin growing.

"We're going on our date here? This is my favourite place to eat at!!" You exclaimed, hugging him tightly. Lord Death happily giggled, nodding and hugging back.

"Well, I remember how you always talked about how you loved this cafe~ So I reserved a table, and they have your favourite meal and drink all ready for you to eat~!!" Lord Death exclaimed happily, giggling and blushing as you kissed his cheek. You grinned still, blushing yourself.

"You're the best, Lord Death~ Now let's get inside~" You purred, dragging him in basically. Lord Death smiled. He hadn't regretted asking You on a date at all.
