its been two weeks since,
sarah has told me she had cancer
in complete honesty, i was hurt
also by the fact, something inside is killing her

sarahs pov

i told nate two weeks ago i had cancer,
even though i know he tried
not to let me hear him cry, i still did
i knew ive shouldnt of told him, hes hurt

" hey sarah "

my mom greeted me and came inside my room

" hey momma "

i said back

" your doctor appointment is today,
so get ready "

i dont know why,
but i just cried

" hey bubs dont cry "

my mother told me

" i dont w-want to go to that d-doctors appointment "

i said in between sobs

" how come? they will treat you and help you "

she replied while rubbing
my back for comfort

" no they will not, mom dont
you see everyone else who has
what i have, s-someones never live,
and i hate the fact that they dont,
were g-going to be spending so much
money, just to see if it actually helps
cure my c-c-cancer mom, i dont know
why b-but i know im going to d-die sooner o-or later "

i said breaking down

" sarah dont think this way, your only in stage one and they will treat
to make sure it dosent get any worse, "

she looked me in the eyes and
her eyes were about to water

" just be positive baby, im as scared
as you are o-okay? we will battle
this throughout whatever it t-takes. i
know your father would like to
see you happy, you k-know that right? "

she hugged me again

before i could apoligize
my mother stopped me

" dont say sorry, theres

she smiled

i nodded then she left the room

i took a quick shower,
and got dressed, mintues
later i got a text from nate

hey baby girl, we should hang out, im taking you out for dinner, you cant say no, love you :)

i laughed at his text

okay fine, im going to my doctors appt. rn so ttyl and love you too :b

i locked my phone, grabbed my purse and ran downstairs, thinking
whats going to happen during my check up
