here i am, at sarahs doorstep

i rang the doorbell and
waited for her to answer

" nathan "

i heard sarah say in my ear,
as she hugged me

once she pulled back, she
stepped away from the door
meaning for me to come in

" my moms at work today, so
im just here by myself "

she said as we walked up the stairs

" oh, so did you start your treatment? "

i asked

" yes and thank you again, "

she replied

we went to her room, and
decided to catch up on our lives

" im started to lose lots of hair "

she said as she touches her silky brown hair

" dont worry about that, your still beautiful, and it just means your chemo is working "

i smiled looking deep
into her hazel eyes

we kept looking at each other,
until we kissed

it felt amazing

as me and nate were kissing

i couldnt stop, it felt so right

its like a part of me, lighten up

but that feeling stopped once he
pulled away

" u-um why did you stop? w-wa-s i a bad kisser or oh my go- "

i was interrupted by his lips again

then he pulled away

" no your not a bad kisser "

he insured me

" and im sorry by the way, i left you
i was just kinda pissed you didnt feel the same way and a-an- "

this time i stopped him by kissing his soft lips

" i like you too nathan "

i said as i pulled away and smiled

he grinned showing his teeth

" but "

i said

" but what sarah? "

he asked confused

" i dont want you to be heart broken, if
we start this relationship, when i-i-i
di-die "

i stuttered

" oh sarah, dont think that way, i promise you, i wont be hurt or you wont die "

he said giving me a hug
and a kiss on the forehead

" how do you know i wont die? "

i asked as i layed on his chest

" because you if you did die, god wouldnt of kept sending me signs, to fight for who i love, and thats you, i love you sarah "

i kissed him as my response

all day we stayed in bed and
watched movies, play games, tell jokes and had the best time of our lives, starting the first day as boyfriend and girlfriend. hoping this would never end
