"We were out at sea, up north more specifically. The weather was terrible. we were frozen to the ocean. Our rations becoming smaller and smaller. If we didn't get help soon, or at least have a good streak with the weather and brake free we were going to die. I was the captain then as I am now." Lucifer looked at Wendy sipping her tea.
He thought she was beautiful. Her thin but curvy figure before him. Her incredible large green eyes staring back at him over the top of her steaming glass. Her blue dress torn in a few places and smudged with dirt in several places from her long fall. Her light almond hair falling down around her face, and in large curls down her back. Her thin nose and beautiful pearl-pink lips. she was an angel.
"We thought all hope was lost. That we were to die out there alone. Our souls traveling the frozen sea for eternity. A few days went by, our food supplies practically gone. We were so weak and tired." Lucifer was smiling remembering the memory. "The day our food ran out a stranger came aboard our ship, The Vintage Cigar. He asked for a simple loaf of bread, but us having run out off all food, including the vermin aboard, had to tell him sadly we had no food left. He smiled at us and offered us an escape from this frozen hell. All of us being so desperate we agreed. The fact that this man had to tie us all around the waist in a long train, then sprouted wings, and poured a magnificent silver gold sparkling powder over us all and we started floating, did nothing but awe us. None of us had the energy to freak out over the fact that our bodies all fell to the ground when he flew off, but we did not, we were still flying with him." Wendy was staring at Lucifer with a knowing look.
"We were all brought to this place where even in the evening it was amazing and beautiful. This stranger nursed us back to good health. I was the one who asked about the fact that our bodies were left behind. He simply said 'If I had told you that you would have died coming here, would you? I don't think you would have. Your soul would have been lost and you would have died out there alone.' I told he was wrong, that in fact I wouldn't have been so upset about saving my soul from an eternity of frozen wandering. I thanked this stranger for saving us and bringing us to such a magnificent place." Lucifer checked to see if Wendy was still with him. He looked at Pan who was looking at Wendy.
"After a few days we were ready to get up and explore the new lands around us. I asked the stranger his name, he told me it was Pan. I properly introduced myself and my crew. He seemed pleased that we were happy here. After introductions he told us he had other things to attend to, and that he would be back later that evening to show us around the island, and to teach us of the new things we were able to do. He left us confused and expectant. Throughout the day we took several guesses at what he meant by 'new things that our body could do'. Childlike excitement filled us. Night fall came and Pan arrived with food and secrets to tell.
