"Hey Sillie, I'm coming to pick you up. I expect you're ready?" Stag said with an impatient tone. "Give me some time Stee, I need to look good to compete your charm. I promise Il be done before you turn up here ." Sylvia said with her mobile phone balanced between her shoulder and her cheek, while she chose the best dress she thought she had.
"Oh come on! Your the most beautiful scene Jesus can ever gift my eyes with." Stag complimented imagining how his girl would look that evening. "You're smiling right now aren't you?" He asked in anxiety. "I am , Indeed." She said, as she felt more beautiful about herself. "Now let me dress up. I will see you soon then, I love you." She cut the call before even hearing to his reply.
She put on her creme dress and brushed her tresses. She wrapped her hip with a purple satin ribbon which complemented her Purple Stilettos. She went towards the main door while Stag arrived at the exact moment.
"How did you know?" Stag asked with utter perplexity.
"My heartbeats became supple and calm, and that only happens when you're around. " Sylvia said while he clasped her hip and kissed her. She hugged his neck and kissed his forehead.
"You look so gorgeous. How do you manage to choose amazing all the time?" He said admiring her grace.
"You look dashing too." Sylvia said adjusting the position of his tie. "Coffee?" She said already half way into her kitchen, tieing her hair up into a bun.
"Sure. I will help too." He said hopping towards her. He tickled her back neck and hugged her from behind. "I'm so jealous of your neck piece . They touch your neck the whole time." He said looking at her from the side.
Sylvia chuckled.
"So?where are you taking me today?" Sylvia asked while she already has guessed the answer in her mind.
"You will see." He said with a pinch of mischief in his tone, a sober one rather.
"Okhay, I'm waiting! I'm dead hungry." She said while she sipped a bit of the coffee to check if the hotness and the sugar was perfect for Stag.
"Let's leave quickly then, I'm driving." Stag said sipping the same cup of coffee.
After a romantic cup of coffee, they drove to a nearby French restraunt.
Stag loosened Sylvia's hair and let it loose.
"Let the breeze brace your hair." He said stroking her hair.
"This is such a wonderful place Stee!" Sylvia said in an excited tone, Twirling around and enjoying the soft breeze."
"Let's go in, the food will thrill you even more." Stag said while he grabbed sylvia's hand and took her to a table.
Stag was afraid to let her outside for long. Her phobia and her problem wasn't yet cured properly. He didn't want any bad delusions to conjure their blissful evening.
"There, this seat is perfect." Stag said while he pulled the chair back for Sylvia to sit.
"Let's order quick, I'm starving." Sylvia told flipping the pages of the menu booklet carelessly.
"I've already decided the dinner." Stag smiled while he called the waiter.
"Bon Appetitt , a flamiche, a chocolate soufle and two red wines, Mate." Stag said without a struggle for the pronunciation.
"Very well, sir." The waiter said, scribbling the names of the dishes on a piece of paper. The dinner was served.
"Your dishes Sir. I hope you enjoy your stay." The waiter said. He noticed Sylvia's sudden change in mood, he stared at her and then left.
"Let's leave Stag. I dont want to stay here anymore." Sylvia said as she uncomfortably shifted her position in the chair.
"But, what's wrong? You were hungry, right? " Stag said trying to calm her down, holding her hand.
"I don't know. I mean, I just don't know. I feel I can't trust anybody here. " Sylvia said in a hope that Stag may understand her.
"You were alright a couple of minutes ago.. what do you mean? " Stag said.
"I feel, I feel like, what if the waiter has poisioned this food? What if he doesn't like me, how I look? " Sylvia said as a transparent pearl of sweat trickled down her frightened face.
Stag thought, why would someone believe something that bizzare all of a sudden? "poisioning the food", "doesn't like how I look" these words resonated in his ears for a fraction of a minute.
"Oh my gosh!" Stag exclaimed.
It struck him, it finally struck Stag.
"The fear, the dilusions, the hallucinations, were all because of that" Stag said confusing Sylvia even more.
"Because of what?" Sylvia cried.
"Schizophrenia." Stag said.
"Come with me, I now know who are you hallucinating and who is troubling you."
Stag said as they both rushed towards the parking lot.
