I woke up the next morning to the sound of my watch alarm going off. I switched it off, snuggling my head into what I thought was a pillow. 'This doesn't feel like a pillow.' So, I looked up, seeing it was Mark's bare chest. He had his arm snug around my waist, still sleeping soundly. My face was on fire, seeing how close against him I was, and feeling his smooth skin against me. I took in a deep breath, smelling his scent, which was intoxicating. I let out a quiet giggle, feeling that today would be great. But, I had to get this off my chest. I just had to say it aloud, even if he didn't hear me. I wrapped my arm around Mark's torso, and sighed. 'Well, here goes nothing.' My heart was beating out of my chest, but at least I could get this off my mind a little. I took a deep breath. "Mark," I said, quietly. " I really am in love with you. I find everything about you to be perfect.And... I feel like I'm not complete without you. Even if you don't feel the same, I'll always love you." I closed my eyes, having all of these thoughts and feelings rush out of me. I began to fall back asleep, but then I heard words I thought I'd never hear from this man. " I love you too, Jack," said Mark.
I was so startled by his response, I jumped up from the bed, but Mark grabbed me, pulling me in for a kiss. It was a soft, passionate one, making me turn red. I was shocked at first, but began to fall into it, kissing back. His lips were so soft, intertwining with mine. I didn't care about the morning breath or messy hair. All I cared about was this. I woke up to something I wanted so much, a dream come true. When we broke our kiss, I looked directly into his eyes, eyes that stared so lovingly at me. This made my heart throb. Finally, he broke our stares, saying softly, "Sean, I love you as well. Every time you look at you, I smile. Every time you smile at me, my heart skips a beat. When we touch, tingles run down my spine and I blush. Without you, I feel like I can't breathe. I want to be the one who makes you smile, to calm your anger and to hold you when you cry. I want to be the one to love you, just for being you." My eyes widened as he grabbed me, pulling me into a hug. He then whispered in my ear, "Sean William McLoughlin, will you go out with me?" I held him tighter, feeling our bare chests touch. Tears began to run down my face, falling to Mark's back. "Jack, are you okay? Why are you crying?", he asked. "Don't you know how long I've been waiting for you to say that?!", I said through my sniffles. "These are tears of joy, damnit! I've always wanted this, you big d-" Mark cut me off with a kiss. It felt so comforting, having his warmth reach me through our lips. As we kissed, I could taste the salty tears as they ran down my face. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He put his arms around my waist, and it made me feel so alive, like without him, I was dead to the world. Mark then broke the kiss, wiping the tears from my eyes. I giggled, putting one of my hands onto his as it gently caressed my face. "So," said Mark, with a smirk. "Is that a 'yes'?" I gave him my 'are-you-serious-right-now' look. "Of course I will, ya big doof!", I said loudly, pouncing on him. As I leaned in to kiss him, my watch went off again. I looked down at it, seeing it was 7:35, and we had to be at Vidcon at 8:30.
"Aww, shit!", I said, getting up off of Mark. "Mark, we're gonna be late! Come on, hurry and get a shower! I'll go get one downstairs." As I began to exit his bedroom, Mark came up behind, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Mark, this is not the time. Let go!", I said, trying to break free. He leaned down next to my ear. "Or," he said, in a soft, husky voice. "Maybe we could take one together to save time." I could feel his hot breath down my neck. Then, Mark began to kiss my neck and jawline softly. It felt so good, but I knew this couldn't happen right now. He loosened his grip slightly, and I broke free. I turned around, putting my hands on his shoulders. "Mark, that would take EVEN longer. Just go get ready, ya big smelly!", I said, giving him a peck on the lips and a playful shove. I ran downstairs, grabbing my clothes and headed toward the bathroom. It was one of the quickest showers I had ever gotten. I then got dressed, putting on my blue hoodie, a pair of black jeans and green converse. I quickly did my hair to perfection, and ran to the kitchen, like a BOSS! I began to make coffee, cut up some apples and toast a couple of bagels. 'We will definitely need a lot of energy today.' After I poured the coffee into two travel mugs, I went upstairs to see if Mark was ready yet. There I found him in his room. He had on black jeans, black Vans and his lucky flannel, unbuttoned, with his hair still a mess. As he began to button it, he noticed me standing in the doorway. "Like what you see?", he asked with a smirk. "Really, Mark? The lucky flannel? ", I asked, shaking my head. "Well, I'm feeling pretty lucky today," he said, buttoning the last button, kissing my cheek, and headed downstairs, keys in hand. I smiled and followed him down, grabbing our breakfast and exiting the apartment. 'This will truly be a great day with you.'
