Running through the woods was exhilarating. Even though it was so dark it was as if everything was clear as day. This all had to be a dream, there is no way that I could run this fast. But I felt as if I were looking for something. Something important. As I ran the wind felt amazing. Passing rows and rows of trees jumping over fallen ones. As I was running I heard a deep growl and saw a flash of something big and brown, until my vision went black.

As I jolted awake I found myself outside my bedroom window laying in the tall grass. Shielding my eyes from the sun I look up to find gran staring at me quizzically.

"When did you come outside dear?" She asked turning and looking at the woods.

"I don't remember coming out here," I admit. After some thought I remembered I have school today!

"Gran! I'm late for school," I rushed jumping up only to get light headed.

"No need to worry Courtney, I want you to come with me to an old friends house."

The hour and a half ride to another log cabin was peaceful and serene, full of woods and even a water fall. I actually love being this close to the woods instead of being stuck in the city. Walking up to the front door a man walks out dressed in animal skins long black hair braided on each side of his face. He looked fit for an older guy.

"Ah, Mrs. Browning nice to see you again," he said in a deep raspy voice. "And who do we have here," he added but looked a bit more shocked.

"We need to talk." Gran said seriously.

"Come on in. I stayed in the living room while they walked deeper into the cabin. His house was like grans everything pushed more off to the side so there was plenty of room for a walk way. He had many pictured hanging on the walls and sitting on a couple tables near the wall. What caught my eye was the pictures of me when I was little and some other little boy.

I don't understand why he would have pictures of me. I don't remember the little boy or any of this. Being here, knowing these people. looking at more photos there were dogs. One with bright forest green eyes and another with a darker colored green eyes. But they do look familiar I just don't understand stand. It's like it's from a dream. Looking at more pictures around the room it hits me like a ton of bricks. They aren't dogs at all they are wolves! And the grey wolf in the picture has my necklace on. That's me.

Running out of the house I slam the front door heading to the woods. "Sebra!" Gran yells at me. Running deep in the forest I need to shift. Trying to fight the wolfsbane they have been slipping me I hear the first bone crack. I whimper in pain but get through the shift with one thing in mind. Finding the other wolf in the picture. He, he is the one that caused my parents to die.

Running I pick up a scent. I stop to figure out where it's coming from only to here growling. "Well well well. What do we have here." A sinister voice echoes in my head. Crap I forgot to put a wall up. "So you finally came out of hiding. And here I thought the cheerleaders were lying. We do have to take you to the alfa." He informed me. "Fine," I answer back in the mind link.

Following them to the pack house I still didn't have all my memories back. Walking through the trees for a while we came out to a clearing with several log cabins like grans and the other mans house. But these were separated and in the middle of no where in a clearing of the woods. Walking through the small village I watched people spar each other for combat most stopping to see who I was and to just watch as we walked towards the pack house still in wolf form. Stopping in front of the pack house the wolves around me shifted back to people, but I stayed in wolf form still not sure. Looking back at the pack house a tall man with black hair and brown eyes came out staring at me intently.

"I see your still not letting me in your mind sebra." He said with a small chuckle. After he said my name a lot of murmurs started around me. "If your wondering where Jax is we don't know. But where ever your scent came from he followed it." He added looking troubled. "Can you come inside so we can talk sebra. And please, as pretty as your wolf side is we go in houses as humans." He added with a teasing smile. Keeping eye contact I shifted and slowly got up before walking past him with confidence. While he was walking to his office with me in tow we walked in the living room seeing the football player from lunch and the cheerleader that attacked me.

All I could do was smirk when I saw the immediate shocked look on her face. Leaving there mind link conversation open not thinking anything about it I was able to listen in. "Dad why is she here? Only our kind from our pack is allowed in here." He said. From my point of view it seemed like he was scolding him. "She is one of us." He said sounded exasperated from his sons concerns. "She isn't a wolf! She smells one-hundred percent human," he argued. "Cameron! That's enough. You may soon learn pup." He bit out glaring at his sun.

After a long drawn out discussion of where I will be living and what goes on throughout the day I was able to get a room in the pack house to rest in. I was excited for tomorrow I would learn how to fight in human form but still be able to go on a run in wolf form to stretch my legs. Now if only I could change the fact that the alfas son was the one who was responsible for me.

~~~ Author's Note ~~~
It's hard to write when I am stuck on my game constantly. :/ with being the leader of my alliance and having several accounts along with heaving to deal with school work and trying to write a book, I can honestly say my days are very busy. xD but writing is always relaxing to me. But anyway hope you liked chapter 2.
