Dracula and Martha got married only a week later, quietly and alone. Thoughts of their former lives were the furthest things from their minds as they spent months in Hawaii together. But eventually, Dracula realized that he was beginning to miss his friends, and the lush forests of home. One night as he and Martha crossed a human path he found a postcard from Honolulu, and realized that he wanted to see everyone again.

"What's on your mind?" Martha asked concernedly as they sat in the soft sand under the bright full moon.

Dracula sighed and answered plainly, "I miss Romania, to be honest."

Martha leaned forward and planted a light kiss on his lips before saying, "Then we will go. Hawaii is wonderful, but it would be nice to settle down somewhere...more reasonable. I will go to the ends of the Earth to make you happy."

Dracula smiled. "Then we will leave...soon."

A month later they were flying together over the rigid mountains and countryside Dracula had so long considered home. He didn't even realize how much he had missed it until he was there, the cool air buffeting his body as he passed around a small eddy. Martha struggled to keep up, her slightly swollen belly catching his eye more than a few times.

"We are almost there, my precious Martha. It's just beyond this mountain here. That's it."

He led the way around the mountain and grinned as the castle came into view. A mournful wolf howl echoed in his ears from a distance, making his grin stretch further. He answered with a loud squeak, and forced himself not to speed up as he heard the happy reply. They landed at the entrance to the castle and were enveloped in purple and blue smoke as they turned into humans. They were exhausted from the long flight, but their excitement at being home and seeing Dracula's old friends again pushed it out of their minds for a while. It took only a minute for Wayne to appear, eyes glowing in the darkness.

"Drac! I was beginning to think you weren't coming back," the werewolf said, jumping out from behind the trees.

Martha smiled. "I'm afraid it's my fault; I've been keeping him all to myself."

Wayne seemed to notice her for the first time as his eyes hovered over her for a moment. "I can't believe you got married! And you didn't think to tell any of us about it?"

"Sorry, it was a quick decision and we didn't want to wait...and it would have been difficult sending a message so far," Dracula answered. "Wayne, this is Martha. Martha, this is Wayne."

Martha smiled and said, "I would love to stay and chat but I am just exhausted. I'll have to meet everyone else later."

Dracula nodded. "Yes, we're both very tired. We'll have to talk later Wayne."

"Great, I'll get the others together then."

As the werewolf went back into the forest, Dracula and Martha entered their new home, feeling both tired and eager for what the nights ahead would bring.
