Today many shall never forget
For some it's a day of thought
For others it's a day of mourn
But either way should we believe
How can we ever forget
Briefly joined in sorrow and lament
We close our eyes and honor
Those who have passed unfairly
Leaving those behind to grieve
The fate of those souls that now wander
Too soon we all say
Rage and sorrow covers the land
As well as ignorance and scorn
For the day was as cruel as it was bleak
For some remember it
While some others learn
But no matter who or what
We can never forget
And never should

This has been made to honor all those people who lost their lives during the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in 2001. It's important to remember else history will forever be lost in time due to ignorance and doomed to repeat. Keep your loved ones close to you and cherish your lives.
