Chapter 20 (Kidnapped by the puppeteer)

Dariele POV
I wake up in a dark place I try to move but I can't. IM CHAINED AGAIN?! I heard a low chuckle and in the dark I saw the glow of yellow eyes? The lights came on and I see a guy with gray skin, shoulder length black hair, and yellow eyes? "Who are you? Why am I here?" I asked looking around, he smiled. " You are now my puppet, and I am yours truly the puppeteer." He said his voice sent chills down my spine, and not like how Ejs does that's a good. This guy gives me the creeps. "What do you mean by puppet?" I asked I was so confused. He snapped his fingers and a mirror appeared in front of me and yellow strings were attached to me...I was a puppet. "Let me go right now!" I yelled he shook his head smiling. " no can do." He said. I tried to move but I couldn't. He sighed " you have no idea how a puppet works" he said irritated I glare at him. "Noo I've been a puppet before and know the strings!" I said sarcastically. "The puppeteer moves the puppet." He said he made me stand up and walked around with just the movement of his hands. "Where is Ej?" I asked glaring him daggers. "Eyeless jack? Well you see-" he was cut off by the shattering of glass and he was tackled to the ground by the one and only my hero Ej. He started to punch, kick, hit, and cut the puppeteer. I screamed in pain every time the puppeteer was hit. "Why is she screaming?!" Ej yelled at the puppeteer. I panted trying to catch my breath, Ej punched the puppeteer in the face causing me to scream in more pain. "Your hurting her you idiot, stop hitting me. She's connected to me so she's going to feel my pain just 100x times worst." He said "Take the strings off of her! NOW!" He growled raising his fist again. "NO STOP!" I screamed at Ej, he looked over at me. " stop I cant take anymore. Just stop, he won't let me go." I said crying. "Why won't you let her go?" He growled again. "Because if I take the strings off she dies" he said hoarsely. "Your coming with me Puppeteer, I will come back for you Dariele I promise." He walked over to me, and kissed me softly. He pulled away."I'm sorry." And with that he was gone with the puppeteer unconscious.

Dariele POV
I must of fallen asleep. My eyes flutter open to see a man with a surgical mask on, with smile stitched into it. I sit up but I regret it when pain shoots through my body as scream in pain. My hand shot over my mouth I look at the man with the surgical mask on. "Take your time moving, your still in a lot of pain. I'm Doctor Smiley but the way call me Doc or smiley." He said his eyes were crimson red. I nod slowly "I can take you to everyone, upstairs." He suggested I nod he slowly walked over to me, he slowly picked me up bridal style I whimper. " I'm sorry." He said I nod wrapping my arms around his neck. He took me upstairs where everyone was sad, crying, or looking really mad. I saw Masky he look was crying? " Masky why are you crying?" I asked sadly he looked up at me. "because they said Dariele wouldn't make it, that she was dying." He said holding back a sob. " but I'm right here masky it's me." I said he looked at me again, he jumped up and basically ripped me out of smiley's arms and hugged me. " I missed you so much!" He said I laugh wincing. " Ease up a little masky, I missed you too." He slowly let me go. I leaned against him and smiled everyone noticed it was me and like crushed me in hugs I told them to be careful while smiley stood back and watched. After a while I walked limped over to smiley, I was weak so half where there I fell to my knees but smiley caught me. He scooped me into his arms quickly " you need to lay down and rest." He said sternly "where is Ej?" I asked "He will be with you soon, I'm sure of it just rest." He said as he laid me down on a super super soft bed. I quickly fall into a deep sleep.
