I woke up to my phone ringing at midnight. It was Lavada and she was crying her eyes out.

"Lilly, me and Alex got in this huge fight and I have no idea what to do", she cried.

"What happened? Is everything okay? Do I need to get a gun and a shovel because you and I both know that I have both of those sitting in my closet right now."

I heard a faint laugh. "No, it's just that I feel like he doesn't care. He told me I mean the world rob him but I don't believe him. I don't know weather I can trust anyone again."

"You're right Lavada. You don't mean the world to him because you meant the whole universe to him. He goes crazy asking me things about you. He gets this sparkle in his eye at the mention of your name. I can tell by the look in his eyes that he is completely in love with you. Don't ever think otherwise."

"Thank you", she said," You always know what to say" and hung up the phone.

I woke up to another phone call around two o'clock in the morning. Thinking it was Lavada I answered it without looking at the caller ID. The voice on the other end did not belong to my best friend though.

"You give good advice. It's such a shame it had to got I waste."

"Who is this!?" I half yelled, but they hung up once again.

I was in the car with my family. I looked around confused. Where am I, I asked myself. The setting reminded me of the day we were coming home from California. The only difference was that a semi truck was in the wrong lane and was heading right towards us. My dad tried his hardest to dodge the ginormous truck but our car plummeted into it.

All of a sudden I was outside the car looking at my body that lay in front of me eerily still. Anxiety flushed over me and I started to look around. There were some paramedics around my sister and she was the only one of us that looked lively.

I ran over to where the paramedics were surrounding my sister and asked them what had happened. I got no response. I started yelling and kicking dirt but still nothing. After smacking one of the men in the head with a rock and still getting no response I collapsed on the floor crying wondering why these people couldn't hear or feel me.

Then I was suddenly in my soft warm bed. I looked at my alarm clock and noticed that there was only a few more minutes until i had to get up for school so I turned off the set alarms. I walked down stairs and my brother and sister were already down there fighting about who got the last muffin. I poured myself a cup of coffee and took it up to my room.

I hated school mornings so much. Especially ones right after a long break. I would much rather stay home than deal with girls like Lyla Morgan. She had everything from popularity to money except for one thing. That one thing, or person I should say was the only good thing that has ever happened to me. Jake. It was constant torture knowing she was plotting something to drive him away from me.

I headed to pick Lavada up from her house since she didn't like to take the bus. I didn't blame her those buses were disgusting. When we finally got to school we met up with Jake and Alex and wandered around until the first bell rang. We all had first hour together so we all headed to class.

There was a new girl talking to our teacher Mr. Campbell. He pointed at the desk next to mine and the skinny, pale, brunette  started walking over to the spot. On her bag it said in big letters Azora so I assumed that was her name. She greeted me and I could have sworn that I have heard her voice before. She also looked oddly familiar. Where have I seen her face before, I asked myself.
