School was over and it was time to leave Niall. It was a pretty sad thought. I didn't want to leave him. I got over being mad at him. And we had a lot of fun over the day.
"Mel!" Niall yelled as I walked away.
"What?!" I snapped. "Sorry, I didn't mean to snap. I'm just upset." I said quickly afterwards. He grabbed my hand.
"Why? What's wrong?" He said, his tone quickly changing to concern.
"It's nothing. I'm okay. What do you need?" I looked down. I think I was about to cry....
"Mel... You're crying... What's wrong?"
"I just... I don't want to go. And what if I never see you again?"
" That is actually what I was just going to talk to you about. A lot of your friends are saying that you are an amazing singer. So, let's hear it!"
"Oh no no no no no! I can't!"
"Why not? Comon' Mel! Do it!" He hands me a microphone in the school gym. Everyone was there. The band was supposed to be performing! Not me.
"But what about your performance?" I asked, slowly backing away.
"Hey guys!" Niall yells looking at the boys. "Help me here!" All of boys looked at the entire school, sitting in the bleachers and nodded. Everyone started chanting my name. 'Mel-o-dy' repeatedly.
"Okay okay! fine! But can I sing a song that I wrote?"
"Sure!"
Nervously I stepped out to the middle of the gym. My heart was racing, my hands shaking. But once I started singing, it all went away. In fact, I loved being there! I loved being in front of the people! I finished my song and calmly walked off the stage. Niall and the other boys stood there just looking at me.
"Melody! You were amazing!" Niall yelled. Then, the most unexpected thing happened... Niall walked up and kissed me!
