Clarke's POV

"Day 62" Clarke wrote in her journal that she took from Tondc before the bomb, "it's been two months since I left Camp Jaha currently I'm making camp out of a hallowed out tree, somewhere around what Tondc once was. I never stay in the same place for more than two nights this way I won't be found easily. I haven't eaten much, everyday I eat less and less. I haven't really been able to catch much food lately, and each day seems to be getting colder. Their faces haunt my dreams so I don't sleep much I just sit by the fire with my dagger and sword in case danger comes. I used the last of my bullets on some reapers that tried to attack me and after I killed them I took their weapons. Everything reminds me of her. The green grass reminds me of her emerald eyes. The swaying tree branches remind me of how her hair would sway in the wind blowing her lovely scent into my nostrils. Every time I look at or even think of Tondc, I see the look of panic in her eyes when I ran back for my mother, it was almost as if she cared. I don't know what's harder: knowing she betrayed me and left me and my people to die or the fact that I still love her even though I hate her. I also don't know who haunts me more at night, the bodies of innocent children burnt to a crisp, by radiation brought on by my hand, or Lexa leaving me to die; flashes of our kiss and every moment we spent together flash through my unconscious mind and when it ends it doesn't end on Lexa leaving me, it ends on me telling Lexa I love her and before Lexa can answer I wake up. So I guess that answers my question. Lexa. Lexa definitely haunts me more. Hopefully I will be able to figure out why it's getting colder everyday maybe it's the seasons changing or maybe I'm getting closer to the ice nation, I don't know but I think it's the first one." Clarke heard rustling in the bushes she put her journal down and quickly grabbed her sword what she saw shocked her.

Lexa's POV

Its only been a couple of weeks since the deal she made with the mountain men, only a couple weeks since Lexa had betrayed Clarke and the sky people. She knew what she did wasn't fair she knew that the sky people didn't get what they deserved. That Clarke didn't get what she deserved. She knew she wasn't fair at all toward the blonde but she also knew it was her best option. Her best option to save as many of her people as possible. And that was her duty as the commander. If Lexa could minimize the blood loss of her people and save the ones that were taken captive at the same time she had to do it no matter what the consequence she wasn't responsible for the sky people she was responsible for her people and she did what was best for them. Only a week after everything had happened the grounders packed up everything to head up to polis where she had been staying since then. Due to the fact that Lexa had been gone for a while she had a lot to catch up on, many meetings to attend to as well. It wasn't until a week ago that she had heard the news. Guards had spotted Clarke alone in the woods. At that point Lexa felt relief wash over her. She was glad that the blonde was alive but she also knew that she would have to confront her sooner or later which was why she let people watch her, so when she was ready to have that conversation she knew where to find Clarke. One week later she was ready. She had thought everything through and felt like she was well prepared for the conversation. She made her way to the place where they had seen her just a day ago and found her rather quickly. Lexa watched her for a few minutes as she was writing something down in a small book before she slowly stepped out from behind the bushes, making eye contact with blonde immediately as she turned around to face her "Clarke" she said simply her voice calm and emotionless as always.
