LexaThe brunette was a bit tensed up at first but eventually gave in, relaxing in Clarke's arms. She automatically started stroking her back with one of her arms just like Costia used to do when she was becoming the commander and wouldn't know how to deal with some things. Lexa move her head back a little so she could look at Clarke while was talking. She didn't want to interrupt her, so she stayed quiet until the blonde was done talking completely. At this point all the brunette wanted was to lean in, to kiss her but she knew she couldn't do that. Clarke had rejected her once already, telling her she wasn't ready and now after the events at Mount Weather it would probably inappropriate of her to do that. Lexa let her green eyes wander over the blonde's face, kind of lingering on her lips before she looked back into the blonde's eyes. She didn't really know how to reply to this and stayed quiet for way too long. She took a deep breath before she finally spoke up. "You are my weakness, Clarke."

ClarkeClarke sighed into lexas chest she didn't know what to say. Lexas hand rubbing against her back calmed her she felt safe and didn't understand why "you were my strength Lexa" Clarke paused and without thinking said "and now you too are my weakness" Clarke inhaled lexas intoxicating scent still in her firm embrace she didn't want to move but she knew she should. She just sat there in lexas arms staring back up at lexas face wondering what it would be like to kiss her lips again her eyes danced over every feature of lexas face, her strong jawline, and defined cheekbones, her plump pink lips, and her eyes, God her emerald eyes that swallow her whole every time she looks into them, she can't think straight when she looks into them. Clarke just stared into them unaware of what to do.

LexaThe brunette's lips quirked up slightly, forming a tiny smile on her lips for a few seconds while she thought about what the blonde had just admitted. She wanted to be her strength, she wanted to be her weakness. Lexa wanted to be everything the blonde would need and she knew her being the commander would get in the way at some point just like it did that night. When she realized that her smile vanished and she scooted back so the two weren't hugging anymore. One way or another she didn't want Clarke to be out here by herself, trying to find food and trying not to get killed. "My offer still stands, Clarke," she started, her eyes focused on hers. "My invitation to Polis," she continued, explaining which offer she was talking about.

ClarkeClarke looked at the ground thinking hard. She thought about the pros and cons of going to polis.
Pro: she would be safe and have a warm bed and food.
Con:she would be there with Lexa
but was that really a con? Clarke shook her head at the thought of course it was she betrayed her. Clarke bit her bottom lip thinking. she knew she wouldn't survive out here in the winter, and she couldn't go back to camp jaha. Clarkes eyes met lexas "fine" Clarke finally said "but this doesn't mean I forgive you" Clarke added with a sigh as she stood up from her place on the ground next to Lexa.

LexaLexa watched the blonde carefully for a reaction, hoping that she wouldn't be stubborn enough to decline her offer since she really didn't want to leave her behind in the woods. As soon as she agreed, a slight smile formed on the brunette's lips but it was gone as quickly as it came. As soon as she blonde had gotten up, Lexa did too. "I do not expect you to forgive me yet," she replied, nodding her head in agreement. She stayed quiet for a while before she spoke up again. "It's a day walk to Polis," she explained. "Pack your things and we can leave," she suggested, not really wanting to walk around in the dark later on.
---
Clarke"Okay" Clarke said quietly while packing her things. She picked up the journal she had been writing in since she left camp jaha she twiddled it in her hands a few times contemplating whether or not to bring it she sighed then shoved it into the small bag she had with her. She didn't have much she left camp jaha with only the clothes on her back and tried to bathe regularly but couldn't always find time with trying to survive on her own and all so she probably stunk. All she had was her journal and some sketching pencils she found in the bunker that her and Fin had found and some charcoal. Every day, after she wrote in her journal she would draw a picture of whatever she was thinking about, most the time they were of Lexa with and without war paint. Clarke sighed again and took a deep breath and looked at Lexa "ready".
