Una's pov
We were all pretty drunk by the end of the night. I was a little sober since I had to watch my friends, so that they don't cause any trouble or get into any trouble. "Hey Unaa, why arre you standing alone overr here?" Asked a drunk Aaron, slurping at the end a little. "Hey Aaron, I'm just looking and sky and you people. Plus I'm not standing alone there are so many people around." I said.
"You know Una i find you quite cute and pretty. I love your hair, your eyes, your lips, your legs. I love everything about you. I wish I could date you but I can't because I know you see me as an elder brother." said Aaron. He was pretty close to me by the time he was done with confessing his feelings for me. I smell his breath, it reeked of vodka and beer with some other drinks mixed. He was about to kiss me but he fainted before he could meet my lips. Thank god for that, I thought.
Taylor came running towards while having a weird expression on his face. "Hey Taylor, what happened why having that weird expression on your face?" i asked Taylor. He saw Aaron fainted on my feet and burst out laughing. "What the heck happened here, what did I miss?" said Taylor laughing. I scowled at him, he immediately stopped laughing and covered it with a cough. "Aaron is pretty much drunk he went on saying how he liked my eyes, my legs, my hair etc, etc. He even said that he liked me but couldn't date me because I see him as an elder brother. He was about to kiss me before he fainted." I said rolling my eyes. Taylor looked like he was about to laugh again but he went into deep thought.
"Shit" Taylor cursed and picked up Aaron by his arm. Well it looks like someone is not as drunk as I thought. "Come on Una, let's go. Kayla is already in the tent. It's time for us also to go." Taylor said. I nodded and started walking. "Hey who will help me here with this drunken ass?" asked Taylor. I laughed an said " Wait I'll be right there." We took Aaron in our hands and started walking towards my tent. We started talking about small things like our classes, what did we want to do in uni, about our parents, his latest conquests, my latest pranks and so on. " What's that guy's name who bumped into you today? Do you know who he is? I feel like I have seen him before." asked Taylor. "He said he was Austin Quarin." I said. "Did you just say ' Austin Quarin'?" Taylor asked with a smirk on his face and emphasis on Austin's name. "Well ya that's what he said. Why?" I asked confused. "I dated his sister once. She was pretty hot but to innocent." Taylor stated.
I just had a shocked expression on my face. I was just staring at Taylor. How could he just play with the feelings of a girl. I pity that girl. I was disgusted with Taylor. I didn't feel like talking to him, thank god we had reached my tent.
"Goodnight Taylor. Meet you tomorrow." I said faking a smile. " Goodnight Una. Meet you tomorrow." Taylor said with a smirk.
"Until tomorrow" He saluted and went away with Aaron. I entered my tent and was surprised to see Kayla wide awaken with tears in her eyes. Why did she have tears in her eyes? I looked at her with confusion.
I was about to say something but then she started sobbing. I went to her and hugged her tight even though I didn't know the reason she was crying but I still held her because she needed it." Why are you crying Kay? Tell me the reason I'm right here to listen to you." I cooed to her. I didn't want her to cry at all. She began. " I like Aaron."
Those words shocked me but I still listened to her patiently. "I have liked him since eighth grade. He is sweet and cute. I like the way he smiles, it brings a smile on my face. I know he is lazy but that is him. He doesn't pretend to be someone he is not. I like him for that. I heard him saying he likes you. I'm jealous, so jealous right now. But I know you only see him as your elder brother and nothing else." She said.
I felt bad that I didn't know about it but I let it go. I wanted to get them together since they would make a good pair. My mission now is to get Kayla and Aaron together. This mission will be known as 'Mission Heart.'
