To understand a person
Must you walk in their shoes?
Is it even possible?
To truly understand a person I mean
People confuse me, I can never seem to understand them
Especially adults, they only seem to see in black and white
Most people don't see the colors that make up their lives
Colors that should smile
Like Cheshire you see
You may think I'm acting like a child
But tell me this, what's wrong with that
A child can see all the worlds many colors
Can feel the emotions of those around them
And like a child, I want to make the world smile
Smile a big Cheshire smile
This may make no sense to you, no sense at all
But that's okay
It makes sense to me, you see
A child who believes,
I only need
To understand one person
Me
That's the only person I need
