"Oh Shit! Look girl! They got auditions to be in August Alsina's video!" yelled my best friend Leah who was on her phone. You see we both are what you call "video vixens".
I don't really prefer to be called that, its sound all ratchet and what not. I prefer the word, "video girl". "Hmm, who is August Alsina?" I ask.
She makes a real stank face at me and replies "STFU! You kidding me???" "What? Im serious. U know I dont be in them artists like that" I say.
"But How can you not know August Alsina? Are you nuts?"
"I mean, Idk, but who is he already?"
She sighs. "Girl, August is one of the hottest r&b singers out now! He been out fa like 3 years now! You know I love this shit?" she says.
I shake my head and reply "Nah, sing it" She puts her hand on her heart and starts to sing
Ima keep on drinking cause I love this shit, Ima keep on smoking cause I love this shit, and ima keep grinding cause this sh-
I scrunch up my nose and cut her off.
"Enough! I get he "loves it", but ohhh I remember, that shitty ass song! He has no talent what so ever! Passs!" I tell her.
She puts on a hurt face and says "Girl you gotta be the dumbest girl on the planet! and hell nah, he real hot right now and I ain't passing it up! He can get us more opportunities and money!" I sigh.
"But his music sucks!" "So!? When did that ever stop you? You don't even have to audition, just come with me!" she begs.
I reply "Alright I guess"
"But, think about your future Brit. This gig could pay more towards college, And plus we the baddest video vix-, girls in the industry" I smirk.
She maybe right, I mean we are the baddest, and we get paid more than usual. His music may suck, but hey, its all business.
I smile and reply "Yea okay" She squeals and hugs me.
"Yaaas, already submitted it" she says. "What? Bitch, how you know I was agree to it?
She chuckles and say,"Girl, you was gonna go anyways! I was gonna persuade you good enough!" I laugh
"Yeah okay, just ask before you submit next time please!"
"Yeah whatever, but the auditions are Saturday at 6. Ima pick you up at 5:45. Oh, and its at The Palace Inc. Studio. Wear something sexxxxy!"she explains.
I nod and say" Dont I always?" "Nah" she laughs. I roll my eyes and knock her phone out her hand. "Stfu" She picks it up and frowns. "Hey,this 6 is on a contract, and if this shit get damaged, you paying for it!" I laugh and shrug. Love this girl.
