All those in favour of my new cover? All those opposed? Awesome! I reckon the old one didn't really work and it was really pixelated, so I changed it :3 It's not all about the cover though, it's about the content of the sory!!! Thank you to the amazing JanBear_04 who commented, I really really really appreciate it!

Hopefully this upload was soon enough, please comment and fan!!! x

"Liam, really, I can't. You know how I value our friendship more. Look, really... I don't know," I was lost for words and was hoping deep down that he would drop it. It was giving me a headache...

"Fine, whatever," he tipped some sugar into the mixture, "but you have to go to Formal with him, otherwise I tell him everything!"

"That's not fair! Come on!" I stopped everything I was doing and put my hands on my hips. I was particularly good at debating in school, it came from a long life of arguments with Gen I'm guessing.

Liam shrugged and smiled, "Tough luck!" I scowled, but I knew when Liam has that face, it means he's not going back on his word. Out of frustration, I turned and headed into the dining room. I picked up the plate we had used for Nachos that we had lazily disposed of and began to walk back into the kitchen.  There had to be some way out of this... I was going to have to think of it pretty quick too.

I placed the plate in the sink and looked at Liam, "If he asks me, I'll go with him, if he tells me he likes me, I'll tell him I like him, but it's not happening the other way. If you try to make me, I don't know, I'll, I'll tell Alexa that you actually liked Hannah the whole time you were dating her!" That was pushing it, I admit it. I promised I'd never tell, but he promised never to tell too. Besides, seeing that look of shock spread over his face was worth it...

"That was two years ago!" His shock had now turned into anger and he was looking down on me. His brow was pushed forward and over his eyes, there was no denying he looked scary... Instead of letting him know I was slightly becoming afraid of him, I pulled a confident expression. One where you smile sarcastically... I could see he was thinking now. I thought I could smell something burning... "Are you bluffing?" I shook my head firmly. I could tell and might tell, but really, I'd be very tempted not to. "Fine." I tried to fight back the smile of triumph because I knew that would just make Liam even more angry and he'd keep arguing.

"Can you mix that? I'll be right back..." Handing him the bowl, I headed straight to the bathroom, I quickly closed the door and let out a sigh, in a sort of emotional release. "Too close... I should never have given him my phone..." After a deep breath, I washed my hands and splashed a little water on my face.

As I entered the kitchen again, I found Dillon had returned soon than expected. Liam was still mixing slowly. "Hey Indi, I bought Snickers pods!" Dillon held them out to me but I refused, I was still feeling a little queasy from the Nachos. Liam scowled at me but kept mixing, "So, what did you guys do while I was out?"

Liam didn't answer, so I did. "Just getting the ingredients together and stuff. He nearly killed me chopping the fruit there... I'll never understand how he thinks my fingers resemble strawberries..." Dillon chuckled. At least he believed it. It didn't really matter if I left out that little snippet of information about what we discussed, did it?

Once we were finally satisfied with the amount of icing on each cupcake, we sat down at the table and began eating the Pods. "So, formal. I'm thinking of asking Ella. You guys?" I shot daggers at Liam. He was really pushing it. Dillon had put another Pod in his mouth and I was the unlucky one that had to respond.
