"Gen, get off my computer!"
"No! Go away!"
"Right now, or I'll rip the head of your dolls!"
"Mum!"
"Finally, she goes away!" Sometimes sisters push it just a little too far. I saved up all of my pay for almost two years to buy myself an Alienware laptop and now I hardly get any time on it.
"Indi? What did you say to your sister?" Great... Getting up just seconds after sitting down, I sauntered through into the living room. "What did you say?"
Crying? Are you kidding? I don't know how Gen does it... I couldn't fake cry as a child. She's just some special sort of freak child that can manipulate her emotions... "She was on my computer! How am I supposed to do homework without a computer?"
"What did you say?" Okay, so I had avoided the question. Still...
"I told her that I'd rip the heads of her dolls... But she started this! It's all her fault! If she didn't constantly go on my computer, then I would be able to do my homework! But no, she goes on it and then I have to say..."
"No, you don't have to say stuff like that. Now go do your homework!" I hate it when Mum gives me that disappointed face. I love my Mum more than anything, but I hate my sister more than anything. It doesn't work to my advantage...
I sat down and pulled my chair so that my stomach hit the desk. I closed down everything Genevieve had been looking at or working on and opened up Skype. Usually I would have turned to Facebook, but I didn't really care about what my seven hundred friends were doing. I only wanted to speak to my really close friends. Lucky for me, none of them were online. Awesome...
"Indi?" I turned my head around and looked at Gen. She was standing innocently by my door.
"What?!" I snapped. She looked like she was about to cry again. If I had the guts, I would sigh and roll my eyes, but then she's cry and Mum would be mad at me again. I turned my chair around so I was facing her. She obviously wanted all of my attention.
"I'm sorry." She ran out of my room and everything fell silent.
"Weird..." I spun back around and opened up Facebook.
Nothing interested me.
I spun around in circles, feeling bored. What was I going to do? I had already finished my homework and completed that new game I'd downloaded. Sitting in the same spot until bed time was going to be so boring.
My phone vibrated and began spinning on my desk. Please be from one of my friends, please, please, PLEASE! I didn't really mind who as long as it was someone I was bothered texting back. Damn. Lily. Although not that popular, Lily was the kind of person that had everyone's phone numbers and was always out on the weekends. However, despite her many 'friends', it was always me she texted when she didn't know what to do for homework.
Considering my mood, I wasn't about to reply. I couldn't really remember what questions we had to do for history anyway. I sighed loudly and looked around my room. Nothing to do... I stood up and walked around past everything. Just because I was so bored. What was I going to do? My phone vibrated again. Please don't be Lily...
