The final bell rang to release us from 7th period. Ki, Jake, and I all got into Jake's car and suddenly someone stopped us. It was Carson Simpson, the coolest boy in school. Carson was a big, buff guy and was the captain of the baseball team. Every girl wanted him but he only wanted one girl and that was Ki. "Hey losers he said to me and Jake. And hey Ki, why are you riding around with these losers and not with me?" "Because these are my best friends and I don't want to ride with you anyway" she said as she closed her door. "Now goodbye". Jake sped off without giving us a chance to put our seatbelts on. "I just hate that guy. He won't let me on the baseball team just because I'm not popular. He's a jerk and he's always calling us losers. Well except Ki, hes in love with her" Jake said. I didn't realize it but Jake really liked Ki, he just didn't want to tell her to ruin their friendship. "He likes me? Holy shit that's awesome!" Ki yelled excitedly. "Who cares anyway Jake said. Let's just get some people and go over my house." "Jake, are you ok? Do you not like that Carson likes me? AWW are you jealous? Is Jakeypoo jelly?" Ki said teasing Jake. "No, Im just protecting my friend" he said. We drove in silence until we reached the pizza place. I went and ordered 4 boxes of pizza and got in. Then we went to Jake's place. Jake has a huge house (well duh he's rich) with 7 bedrooms and 4 baths. He's asked us to move in many times but I'm waiting til school gets out. Ki already moved in with him since she's not from a good part of town. Ki's real name is Kionna Grace but we call her Ki. Her parents are drug dealers and she has a little sister who stays with her aunt. We got out the car and noticed a baby carriage on his front porch. The note read "here's your baby from James". James was a boy that used to got to our school. Him and Ki used to date. One day, he screwed her up and got her pregnant. When she had the baby, he stole it from the hospital and moved to Minnesota. Ki cries for weeks. Ki ran over to the baby and picked it up. She looked into the baby's eyes and she started to cry. It was a young babygirl and she was only 2 months old. "My baby is here!!! I can't believe it! Oh my baby!" Ki said crying. "What are you going to name her?" Jake and I both said anxiously. "I'm going to name her Cadence Marie after my grandma" Ki said. We went inside and we played with Cadence, ate the pizza and went soundly to sleep.
