Levys POV
"Mcgarden?" I barely heard my name being requested from the other side of the room. I walked out from between the bookshelves to find one of the higher ranked Council members eyes focused on me. I wonder what's going on. No one when ever notices me- "Ah, thank goodness we've found you, please follow us." Stated the superior. Without any hesitation they hurried out of the library and down to Central Quarters.
"Excuse me?"
I barely managed to murmer out to one of the many guards escorting us.
"Yes, what is your concern?"
He said with very little emotion.
Maybe I shouldn't ask him, he definitely seems very uninterested.
"Never mind" I replied knowing he was probably irratated of such a low ranked like me. In no time at all we were standing in front of Main Council Courthall.
"Wow" I whispered to myself, while my mouth slightly hung open. I felt even smaller than I already was standing next to these towering doors. I myself have never been close to this area of the enormous building. Ive always dreamed of becoming high enough ranked so that I could prove all of the people who called me weak wrong.
Eerrrrrkk
They slowly opened the gold engraved doors and entered. I didn't know what it was but I could barely get myself to enter.
As soon as I had taken my first step into the Grand Hall every thing fell silent, and eyes fell upon me. There were no more guards around me, they had disbursed and guarded each end of the Main Hall. Now, nervous didn't even begin to describe how I felt standing all alone.
"How wonderful of you to join us."
I looked down the center of the enormous table to see a beautiful woman rise up out of her seat. Her long white hair flowed off of her shoulders and gently grazed the floor. She wore the most elegant white gown that seemed to produce its own soft but vibrant shine.
"I am very honored!" I quickly snapped out of my thoughts.
"There is no need to be so formal" She smiled "I am assuming you are completely clueless to what is happening right now, so please have seat among us."
"Yes, you're right. Thank you." I grabbed the one open chair I could find out of the many.
"Everyone, please. I'd like for you to leave me and Ms.Mcgarden alone for awhile." She said standing up.
In just a few seconds later, we were alone. No more Council Members. No more Gaurds. Just me, the big empty table, and the beautiful woman.
