Cold Nights

Ally's POV

"What happens when you have to leave?"

I asked Bradley as I laid across his chest

He kissed my hand "I think about you until I come back. Why? You're not gunna leave me are you?"

I shook my head "you have my heart and only mine, no one else has it."

He pulled me under the cover and kissed me "let's go to sleep before the rain starts pouring down."

I smiled "by the way, happy anniversary Bradley."

Bradley kissed my cheek "happy anniversary baby, you're the greatest thing that could have happened to me."

I snuggled into his arms and fell asleep.

Thunder Cracked, Lighting flashed and I was alone.

My bed was cold without him.

My body was cold without him.

No amount of clothing kept me as warm as he did.

I laid there on his side of the bed indulged in his scent. I missed him.

My daddy told me this is what I signed up for. Just like my sister and Shane.

He's leaving soon, my sister Emma is gunna be in the same situation as me.

We'll be both alone and crying.

There was a knock at my door.

I walked over, There stood Emma.

"Ally, you have a letter."

I took it and opened it up and started reading.

My Dearest Ally,

I just left and already feels like I've been gone for a year. I already miss you, I know that there's already tears hitting the paper and it makes me sad because I don't want you crying. What I didn't tell you was that I wrote this last night when you were sleeping, you were snuggled asleep looking as beautiful as you did the first day I met you. I know your wiping your eyes at this very minute making sure you didn't mess up your make up. You've probably already showered and have on a pair of gym shorts and my shirt with your hair in a bun on my side of the bed and to be honest. I don't mind if you sleep there every night even if I'm home, I just want to be able to wrap my arms around you, so go ahead and go to sleep. Keep me in your heart.

I bit my lip, and laughed letting the tears fall, he knew me so well that I did all the same things he mentioned. I missed him already, Emma was standing at the door and hugged me.

"You'll survive Ginger-Al."

I smiled and hugged my sister "Thanks Em&m."

Just as we let go Shane walked in, He was in a pair of shorts and a tshirt, he was obviously waiting on Emma to come to bed.

She smiled at him and held his hand and looked at me "Goodnight Allyson."

Her and Shane walked out.

I Shut the bedroom door and sat at the desk crying, then pulled out a sheet of paper.

Dear Sergeant Sheckler.

I miss you so god damned much it's crazy. I shouldn't even miss you this much when it's only been a day but I do. When you get back please don't forget to hold me like you don't wanna lose you, cause I don't wanna lose you. I'll be counting down the days till your return.

I sprayed the letter in my favorite perfume and put it in the envelope and wrote down the address and layed it on my desk. I then marked an X over the today on my calendar, Bradley's Departure.

With that I fall asleep with him in my heart.

Okay how did you like the chapter? I know I take forever to update but I've been busy with school and everything else it has to offer (Homework, Test, more homework, Ect.) But I will try to update more frequently it's hard when you have writers block though!
