As I walked into school the bell had already rang and I rushed to the first class I had. And my Health teacher wasn't the cheerful kind of person epically if your late. "Sorry I-" I tried to say before being cut off by my teachers hand. "Do you see what time it is? Class has started and I see you have now late slip. Ill mark you here but you don't get to pick your partner today." the teacher said pointing to the back of the room where the dark shadows of the loneliest kid sat. "But!-" I tried to protest against this but the teacher gave me the death glare and I had no choice but to walk to my death. Logan was sitting with Heather the bitchiest chick anyone knew. Her and her great looks would be sure to win Logan's heart and make him forget all about me. She had her strawberry blond hair up in a messy bun and her short shirt and tight pants were covered in glitter. She had the biggest earrings id ever seen and her popping of her pink gum was heard all throughout the class.  I could only glare at her from a far hoping she'd go bald. "Uh, hello. Ill be your partner today and hope we'll be a good pair." I said taking a seat next to him but looked away quickly since he didn't even move or flinch at what I had said. As the teacher explained the task I looked over to see if the kid in the dark hoodie understood the task and was willing to even talk. "So I can read the work and tell you what to write? If you're ok with that?" I said trying to get a look at his face. He only made a soft sound and I handed him a piece of paper. As I was reading he wrote on the paper but as I got a glimpse of what he wrote I was shocked to see only wavy lines on the paper. Nothing but lines, no words. "Do I need to slow down?" I asked still looking at the paper. He quickly covered the paper and slid it in his backpack and grabbed anew piece of paper. He slid it over slightly to me and motioned for me to read it to myself. It had fine writing and the words were written small so no one but the reader could read it. "My names Shane." I looked at him to see him laying his face down into his arms as if he was sleeping. I looked back at the note and replied. "Nice to meet you. I'm Lucia. Why don't you ever talk if you don't mind me asking." I slid the paper back to him and he quickly read it and slid it back to me with his reply. The whole letter we wrote back and worth was time taking and pretty much took up the whole class. The Note:   "I don't like people very much. What about you? You don't like people much either, right?"         "What? I talk to plenty of people and enjoy peoples presents."         "I think you don't know yourself as well as you do then."            "What does that mean?"           "Don't mind me but, I notice things. Being a quiet person gives you a chance to notice people and what they're like. Its true that you talk to people but you only seem to one. Anyway, the reason why I'm writing to you is because I need you to meet me under the big Oak tree by far field, its important so don't bring anyone. After school asap." As he gave it back the bell rang and he was the first out of his seat. I read the note and quickly shoved it in my backpack when Logan had came to greet me. "What cha got there?" he said trying to glance into my backpack. "Nothing, just some notes. I see you hited it off with Heather." I said glaring at her as she left the room. "Nah shes alright but it was only a lab. Sorry you got paired up with Mr.Shadow back here." "Its alright hes not that bad." he looked at me as if I knew something that he didn't. "Hey lets grab a bite after school. I'm buying." he said with a huge smile as he rubbed his stomach. "Uh no thanks I gotta head home early but take Stacey with you she could use a few pounds. Bye!" I said rushing past him and headed for the Oak tree. I need to find out what he knows. Its not every day a random kid and on top of that one that never talks final talks to you, that's fishy.                             What does he know that I don't?
