Chapter 34

~Casey's pov~

I woke up in my bed with pain every where. I got confused at what I was only wearing then remembering the night before. I quickly stood up and pulled on some sweat pants and a sports bra.
I stumbled out of my room holding onto the wall for balance. I saw Andy coming to me and helping me up.
"You shouldn't be out of bed." He said trying to walk me back into my room.
"N-n-no. I-i need to see my girls." I said trying to pull away.
"Ashley is taking the girls to there doctor appointment and then going to the park. I'm taking you to the hospital cause of last night." He told me carrying me into my room.
I started to remember more and more about last night and started crying.
"Hey hey. I'm sorry for bringing it up." He said then kissing my cheek and hugging me.
"Don't touch me," I said, he looked at me worried, "I'm filthy and disgusting. I need to take a shower." I said getting up and struggling to the bathroom.
"How bout I just give you a bath?" He said as I sat down on the floor.
I nodded.

~after/ at the doctors~

I sat on the hospital chair waiting for my doctor to come out after my testing and check up thing.
My doctor came and pulled me and Andy to a private room.
"Miss.Purdy you have no internal damage but you were 2 weeks pregnant but miscarried cause of the incident." She told me. I broke down and cried into Andy's shoulder.
"But that's not all," she said, we looked up, "we also found the early stages of leukemia."
I covered my mouth and I looked up at Andy and he had tears going down his face.
"It's early enough that we can start treatment and start trying to beat it," She told, "I'll give you two some time, you can leave when you like."
She left and me and Andy sat in silence for a few minutes.
"What am I gonna do?" I asked him.
"You're gonna beat it and we're gonna get past it. We'll be fine. I love you and the girls. You're gonna live to see them grow up." He told me.
"But what if it doesn't go like that?"
"Don't think like that." He said as more tears came rushing down his face.
"Let's go, I need to tell my dad about this." I said. We left and went home, saying no words to each other. Eventually Ashley came home with the girls and set them on the floor with there toys. He hugged me and said hi.
"Dad I'm gonna be blunt about this. I have cancer and a miscarriage." I said emotionless.
He had tears running down his face and came to me give me a tight hug.
"I'm so sorry this had to happen to you baby girl." He said.
"It'll all be fine daddy." I said as a tear slipped my eye.
He backed away and I saw the girls looking at me crazy.
I wiped away my tears and smiled.
"Hey baby girls." I said, sitting with them on the floor playing with them.
This could be the last time for anything.  I started to cry my eyes out. When they fell asleep.
I took them upstairs and walked around the house looking at everything and remembering everything.
Maybe if I do die they'll be better off.
