August: look I got something to tell you

Me: ok go ahead

August: there is a small reason why I did all of this

Me: August just spit it out

August: ok... Shit.. I um really like you and stuff and you know but I uh

I couldn't help but to start laughing. We had now made it to a spot where I could see because the moon was no longer blocked by the few trees that's over by the entrance.

Me: are you ok

It looked as if he was starting to sweat.

Me: here let me help you

I started to help him out of his jacket. Yes y'all he had a suit on and he looked adorable.

August: thanks but I really don't know how to say this or do this never done it before and I plan on never saying it anyone else

Me: ok im kinda scared of what your going to ask me, Aug I swear if you did all of this just break up with me I fucking hate you

August: woah woah no I didn't I was going to ask you.... Will you marry me ?

He got down on one knee and held my left hand. He slowly opened the small black box that I never noticed until now. Im shocked I actually thought we would never get married, shit I thought I would never love him but I do so I guess things or people can change. I didn't notice that I started crying. I still didn't answer him I just stared.

August Pov

I was getting hella nervous because she want saying a word. I cleared my throat. I seen her blink a few times then look around.

Me: this is all real baby I just need to know if you want to be with me forever

She still didn't say a word she started to shake her head up and down really fast. I smiled and slid the ring on her finger. I stood up and brought her into a hug.

Me: its ok baby don't cry

I wiped her tears.

Me: you ok

She shook her head yes again. Damn she that speechless she can't even say yes or no.

Me: I love you

I laughed and gave her another hug. I heard her muffled voice in my chest.

Nelle: I love you too

Me: alright come on before it gets to late you need that beauty sleep

Nelle: you tryna say im ugly

Now she talking. 😒

Me: not at all baby girl you beautiful except in the mornings you most definitely did not wake up like this

I twirled her around then wrapped my arm around her and lead her back to the limo.

Nelle: you really want to go there

Me: nah ma im just playing

We just got back home and Nelle fell asleep on me as soon as we got into the limo. I carried her into the house and up the stairs. I carried her into the bed room and laid her on the bed. I took off my clothes and hers too. I put on a pair of basketball shorts and gave her my t shirt. I wiped off the little bit of makeup she had on. I then put her in a comfortable position raising the covers up over her tiny body. Before I went to sleep I turned on the ceiling fan. Then I went downstairs for a drink of water. Damn today was a good day. I texted Trav about the kids in the morning. I jogged back up the stairs and into bed I went. Right next to my future wife. I pulled her close and drifted off to sleep.
