I was sitting on my bed looking threw my messages with Alexa. Alexa was my best friend in Tennessee. Alexa and I would do everything together. We were basically sisters. Alexa lived across the street from me. I was going to go over her house later to hang out with her. I was texting her asking what I should bring when my parents called me down stairs. "Dakota can you come here for a second?" I strutted down the stairs and into the living room. I sat on the yellow floral couch across from my parents. "So what did you want?" I asked. "Well me and your father have decided to go on a trip around the world for the summer." My mom replied quickly. I sat there a little excited because that meant I was going to be home alone for the WHOLE summer! Just me and Alexa chillen down by the beach and partying it up. My mom looked at me with a strange face but quickly realized why I was smiling. "Dakota do you really think we would leave you home alone with Alexa across the street?!" My dad said. "So are you saying you don't trust me home alone?!" I snapped back. "We do trust you just not home alone. For the whole summer and maybe longer. With Alexa across the street." My mom said calmly. "We cant even trust you for five minutes home alone with Alexa." My dad tried to say under his breathe but failed. "Really dad really!" I said a little aggravated. "Well its true." My mom said defending my dad. "Fine then where are you going to send me?" I asked a little concerned. "Ummm. Erm." My parents both stammered. "WELL? Where are you sending me?!" I snapped. "Cheshire England." My dad said quickly. I exploded. "CHESHIRE ENGLAND! WHY? DO YOU HATE ME? ALEXA AND I HAD PLANS THIS WHOLOE SUMMER!" I screamed. "We know but the only alive relative is your grandmother and she lives in Cheshire England. We are sorry." My mom said. "Well when do I leave then." i said a bit aggravated. "Tomorrow" My dad said slyly. "TOMORROW! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" I screamed. "Well kid, better get packing." My dad said with a smile. I ran upstairs with my cowgirl boots stomping against the hardwood floor. I wasn't packing yet because I still had to go to Alexa's. I grabbed my phone, changed into some shorts and one of my hockey jerseys and ran out the door before my parents could say anything. I ran across the street and walked up to Alexa's house. Before I got to the door she was waiting for me. She opened the door and could see I was stressed about something. "Dakota whats wrong?" She asked concerned. I looked at her and immediately told her what was happening and where I was going tomorrow. "And so tomorrow I'm moving to Cheshire England." I finished on the verge of tears. I noticed Alexa wiping away some of her tears. "Well at least there will be some hot boys there!" Alexa said enthusiastically. Me and Alexa talked for about two hours. We talked about all the things I was going to do in England and what she would do over the summer without me. Finally I realized that I hadn't packed yet. "Shit Alexa I have to go pack. Your welcome to come with me." I said."No I will stay here but come over before you leave tomorrow okay!" Alexa said. "Of course but call Brady over I want to say good bye to him too!" I said running out the door. I quickly raced across the street into my house and up to my room. I grabbed all my summer cloths and a few light coats and jeans and shoved everything into my suitcases. I sat on my bed in my room looking at all the features as if it was the last time I would be in it. The blue walls covered with pictures of me Alexa and Brady. Brady is my best guy friend. He is always there for me. He is my brother and I couldn't imagine life without him. My trophies and medals lined the shelfs and hung from the door. My memory box filled with my childhood. It was hard to think that this might be my last night here in Tennessee. I laid my head down on my pillow and slowly drifted off to sleep. As i dreamt about old memories.
