I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing. Alexa was texting me nonstop to make sure I remembered to come over to her house for the farewells. I got out of bed and changed into a plaid t-shirt and some shorts. I grabbed my cow-girl boots and ran out the door and across the street to Alexa's. As I walked up her walkway Brady came running out and engulfed me in a hug. I was really happy to see Brady for what could be the last time and gladly returned the hug. I was going to miss him so much. Even though Alexa and I were close Brady and I were even closer. I loved him to death and would take a bullet for him. We would talk about everything.

"Dakota why didn't you tell me?" Brady asked, a little upset.

"I didn't want to tell you cause I couldn't bear to see your face after i told you." I said sympathetically.

"I'm going to miss you so much Dakota!" he said with tears falling down his cheeks. I wiped them away and brought him back into a hug.

"I know and I'm going to miss you too. But we are still going to stay in touch. Right?" I said on the verge of tears.

"Of course." he said smiling.

"And besides it's only going to be for the summer not my whole life." I said with a chuckle.

"DAKOTA! BRADY! GET YOUR ASSES IN HER NOW!" Alexa screamed. Brady picked me up and flung me over his shoulder. "BRADY PUT ME DOWN!" I screamed and laughed. "I'll think about it!" Brady replied. In other words he wasn't going to put me down. Brady and I both went in the house to see pancakes and waffles.

"I made a farewell breakfast!" Alexa said.

"Thank you" was all I could get out before I broke down crying. Brady and Alexa came over in a big group hug. We talked for the rest of the morning until it was time for my flight to go. My parents called my phone.

"Dakota where are you? We have your bags already in the car." "Okay mom I'll be out in a minute." I said and quickly hung up before she could ask anymore questions.

By the look on Brady and Alexa's faces I knew they knew it was time for me to go. We had a group hug. We stayed like that for a few minutes before we broke apart. I gave them each a hug. Brady wiped away my tears and kissed my forehead.

"Dakota promise me you will be back by the end of the summer. No matter what happens and who you meet we will always be your friends right?" Brady asked.

"No" I replied.

"Oh ok." they both said in unison.

"You will always be my best friends." I said. They both smiled and said goodbye as I ran out the door. I ran into the car and we drove to the airport. My parents brought me in got me my plane ticket then left. I was a little mad they didn't even wait to see if my plane got of the ground or not but that's my parents for you.

"CALLING ALL PASSENGERS TO FLIGHT 486 TO CHESIRE ENGLAND NOW BOARDING!" the intercom rang threw the airport. Well guess that's me i said to myself. I put my bag on the conveyer belt and gave the lady my ticket. I walked threw into the plane and took my seat. Thank God i was sitting next to a girl my

"Hi I'm Skyler!" she said enthusiastically.

"Dakota." I said shaking her hand. We just started talking until the plane finally took off. I put on my headphones and put my iPod on shuffle as I slowly started to drift off to sleep.
