Jesse's POV
As I was walking with Mellanie, I felt the ground shake. I stopped and looked at her. Her face turned white as paper ⬜️⬜️. The ground started to shake more and it was more ruff this time, but it wouldn't stop. I grabbed Mellanies hand ( which made her blush ) and I ran to a clear place that didn't have buildings, trees, etc.. I could tell Mellanie was scared because she was shaking. I was scared as well, scared that I wanted to go cry in the corner 😭😭. But I couldn't. I had to save me and Mellanie. So when I was at a spot that was clear of trees and other stuff, I hugged Mellanie and crouched down into a little ball with her. " I don't wanna die " Mellanie said crying 😭. " it's ok I promise we won't die " I said to her, while kissing her forehead 💋. The Earthquake kept on going, I could see building fall down, trees, street lights, etc. I was so scared. I didn't wanna die at a young age. About 5 minutes later the Earthquake stopped. I looked around and saw all the damage the earthquake had done 😔😔. As Mellanie and I got up, I saw that she was still shaking. She was so shocked at the damage it had done, that she couldn't speak. I couldn't speak either, I only wondered what happened to my house. MY HOUSE OMG!!! I thought in my head. " Come on, we have to see if our houses are still standing 🏡🏡 " I said to Mellanie. So when we walked to my house, both of us were looking at the houses, everything that was destroyed. I was so worried that my family, my house, everything was gonna be gone. I can't lose my family. I just can't 😔😔. As we got to my street I ran to my house to see if it was still there. When I saw my home my eyes started to water 👀👀. It was still standing. Everybody was standing outside. I was so thrilled to see them. But I remember Mellanie, her house, and her family.
