Book's POV
As Jesse and Mellanie kissed, Mellanie pulled away.
" i-i-can't do this, im sorry" and she walked out the restroom. Jesse just sat there.
" did i do something wrong? Do i smell?" ( 😂😂). When Jesse looked for Mellanie she wasn't in the house anymore.
Jesse asked him mom and she said that Mellanie ran to the park.
Jesse's POV
As i was about to run to the park my mom grabbed my shoulder.
" she needs space Jesse, just wait awhile. She needs time to think about the earthquake, her family, everything."
" but mom she-". My mom had cut me off. " no buts Jesse just wait for her to talk to you".
Mellanie's POVWhen i ran out of Jesse's house i didn't know where to go. I had no home so scratch that out, no friends either.
My sister was still here but she's always at work or with her boyfriend. So i just went to the park
The park was where my dad would take me to play soccer with him. We would practice all the time.
I remember when I scored a goal on him. I was so happy. Jumping around like a crazy person.
Those memories had made me smile and make my eyes water. " i wish my family was still here 💗😔" i said to myself.
I just sighed and looked at the little children playing around. ( shes not a stalker 😂).
They were happy and smiling. The opposite of how i was feeling.

Jesse's POV
Mellanie still hadn't talked to me from the day we kissed. She changed from the most happiest girl to depression,
sadness, all that stuff ." i wonder where she is?" I thought. As i was looking for her, i saw people circling & laughing someone... Someone that i knew very much.
