Advice is always a object given,
Sometimes an unwanted gift
Or sometimes an aspiring surprise
But, not always necessarily right.
"Never pick a fixer upper!"
"Don't play with the broken toys!"
Yet, the fixer uppers have the most character
And an awful amount of potential.
They aren't utterly demolished forever.
They just need a little aid, like everyone.
Once they get a little tender, love and care
They have the brightest front porch lights.
The broken toys you want to throw out
Just need a little glue in the cracks
That abusive, ungrateful people have left.
Their porcelain skin polished.
Their dress newly sewn.
They can be made beautiful and anew.
That's when the ones worthy
Receive the ones worth having.
Cherishing by their own standards.
Self opinion is a brick
versus a feather of others opinion
On the scale of significance.
Advice is a word of heart not word of mind.
The broken and the worn
Have the most tragically beautiful minds,
The biggest hearts,
The most personality,
And most accepting arms.
