Why didn't you tell me who you are?

We made to a IHOP and nobody was there from the looks of the parking lot, then again it's six in the morning. I got out from the BMW and within a flash, mom and dad held onto my hand as if I were a young child. I never got to do that with my mother or father when they were alive, we walked with smiles in our faces as we walked inside the restaurant.

Dad let's go of my hand and open the door for I and mom.

"Ladies, first." said Dad looking like dork while holding the door for mom and I.

"Well, thank you fine, sir." said Elisa with a bow. I was cracking up.

Once we enter the restaurant and  got our booth, we had decided what we were going to eat today. I looked at the menu and thinking how do you order food at a restaurant? We were the only people at the restaurant.

A blonde young server came up to our table. "Hello, welcome to IHOP. My name is Emma and I will be your waitress for today. Is there anything you would like to drink?"

"Two coffees for us, and what do you want Nataly?" asked dad.

I really didn't knew but what to get, "Do you have tea, by any chance?" I asked. I saw mom and dad's face where shocked. I think is not normal for a teen to like tea.

"Yes, we do have tea. Do you need more time to decide what you guys are going to eat or need some more time?" for some reason she appears nervous, I wonder why.

"I thinks we need some more time, thank you." said Elisa. Emma the waitress left, she looked so red and so shaky. Is it her first day here, is like she saw a ghost or something.

"Do you know what you are going to get?" asked dad.

"I think I am going to get the Double Blueberry Pancakes." I said reading from the menu.

"Hey, that's what I always get when I come here. You have very good taste in your pancakes." said mom as she raised her hand up to give me a high five
"Are you going to get anything else?" asked Patrick, I mean dad. WI why do I keep on doing that.

"I don't think so because I am not a big fan of meat, maybe some eggs." I said I was confuse.

"Are you a vegetarian then?" asked  my mother.

"Ummm....   at the Orphanage  we were not allowed to become vegan or vegetarian. Is just that ever since I can remember I never like eating meat. I was always forced to eat meat like beef, chicken, and pork, the really the only meat that I can stand is seafood I guess. But that's really more pescetarian than vegetarian." I said looking straight at them.

"That's kind of funny because Patrick is a vegetarian, I am actually a pescetarian, so I think you'll do fine in our household." said Elisa she was smiling.

"Nataly, can I ask about your  ethnicity because you don't really look that Spanish to me, are you mix?" asked dad.

"I get that question all the time actually. My mom is 100% Spanish because she is from El Salvador, however my dad was half Filipino and half French so yeah I am mix  I guess." I said.

"Oh my god I'm quarter Filipino,  and you are quarter Filipino. You  are seriously related to me." said mom as we both laughed.

"I guess I am the 100%  white guy in the family." said dad. At this point we started dying.

Then Emma came back with our drinks and see she was a little more calm, but still a bit shaky.

"Here are drinks and before I take your order, I have to ask are you Patrick Stump?" said Emma as she was a rubbing her hands on her blue apron nervously.
