chapter 7 part 1

{ Teresa's P.O.V}

I ran down the street of my neighborhood. I passed my Michael's house and saw his mother outside. She told a guy to stop me and so he did.

"Please move out of my way," I said whipping my tears.
"What's wrong?" He said
"Nothing"
"Something is wrong, you can't be crying for for nothing," he told me. I didn't answer.
"Marlon move away from her" I heard Mrs. Jackson tell the guy
"Yes mother" he left and Mrs. Jackson came in front of me.

Is something bothering you love she told me. I cried and I told her what happen. When I was I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and saw it was Michael. I moved away from him.

"I hate you! Don't touch me! Y-you jerk!" I ran off again and this time straight home.

{Michael's P.O.V}

I looked at her eyes this time when she told me she hates me and I could see that she was heartbroken and full of hate. When she ran again I saw Daniel still run after her. I felt a hit on my head.

"Good work lover boy," Adriana told me after she hit my head
"I didn't want to hurt her"
"But you did. This time you truly did fuck up. I don't know how to help you"
"What do you mean?" I told her
"Teresa is my friend"
"And?"
"You should have listened to her nickname I gave her"
"What nickname?" My mother stepped in the conversation.
"Teresa had a nickname that I gave her", she told her
"Which was ?"
"Mar, it means ocean in Spanish, I  choose that nickname to her cause a ocean is peaceful and beautiful, but when threaten the waves get rough and a storm comes"
"Oh I see" she her
"So let me get this straight Michael kissed this other girl, cause he was jealous of a guy name Daniel that was about go kiss Teresa  but he didn't."

Me and Adriana nodded at my mother
Adriana told her the rest and why teresa hates me. My mother looked at me

"Sweetie I'll have Marlon take you home"
"Yes ma'am " she told her. She called over Marlon and told him to take adriana home which he did. When they started to walk away ,my mother pulled my ear.

"Ouch! Mother!"
"Hush Michael "
She dragged me inside still pulling my ear and let's go of my ear when we got inside.

"Go sit down on the couch now and wait till I get the rest of the boys here!" I could tell she was mad at what I did and I don't blame her. She went upstairs to get the rest of my brothers. We all waited for Marlon to come back. When he did he sat down with the rest of us. I knew it was going to take a while till we all could go to bed.
