The Beginning.

[Quick note: This is an AU where everythig is the same but many things are changed. There is slight modern thing such as lights, flashlights, different foods, guns and some technology. But other than that everything is the same. Enjoy]

You sat down peacefully taking a bite out of the moist piece of bread for lunch. A smirk appears on your face. You did know that many people were staring at you as you ate. So much people sat around your table.

You didn't care, infact, all you cared about was the food. You hear a clash besides you. You turn your head to see a girl attempting to sit besides you, putting her tray on the table. You look at her as she then looks at you. You swollow your food and smirk. "...Hi!" You smile. "Hi.." She replies.

She smiles as if she had saw a famous celebrity for the first time. Jheez, it's not like you had enough people on your table already.

Behind your table were two best friends, Mikasa, and Armin. Ocasionally, different cadets would sit with the two but that's all you knew.

Sooner, lunch was over. You returned to your dorm whom you shared with another female cadet.

"Did you hear...?" Your partner asks folding her uniform.

"Hear what?.." You ask climbing up the bunk bed.

"Well, a huge rumor has been going around for years now. A secret organization full of the strongest titan-shifters world-wide who live somewhere under ground who plan on killing every single member of the military slowly...I'm suprised you never heard, (Y/n)..." Your friend says.

"Woah, I'm 100% sure that's just a theory." You say.

"Well we aren't so sure about thatm (Y/n). Apparently when a cadet went to talk with Erwin and on his desk he saw a letter that seemed like it was from the organization. Apparently, he only got see half the letter but the letter was a threat." She explains.

"Anymore...info?" You question cuddling in the sheets. "Not much..except...It's also rumored that the squad leaders, corporal, and commander is absolutely terrified to deal with them." Your roommate says.

"The corporal...scared?" You laugh slightly. "Hey...this is what I'm hearing..I didnt make this up."

Elsewhere..

Later during the night, the Commander slouches on his chair behind the desk as he read the letter once again. "Why do they want us?" He wonders. He bangs his fists upon the hard wooden desk.

"The cadets are trying to find out. We already agreed that they cannot know or else." Erwin murmurs to himself. He puts his hands on his forehead in frustration. "If they find out we have a shifter in this military..."

"Then.."

"Then..."

He sighs in frustration and folds the letter in two pieces, then, putting it in his pocket. "It just interests me to see how many known shifters and former comrades...Gone. Just like that. Some even faked their deaths. Do we just...Give up? Do we form an alliance? Is there a point in...even having a military?" Erwin questions himself.

"Maybe I should just get some rest."

The next day, you got up more cheery than ever. Why? You for once got good sleep. You get up and change into your uniform.

You relize that your roommate has already left early for breakfast.

You happily walk down the hall to the lunch hall. "Hopefully the food is good.." You hope. You accidentally step on a piece of paper. You were decided to be nice enough to pick it up. It was folded in two pieces.
