Tangled Love(Four Tris story)

Chapter 23

Tris' POV

I wake up and I am on a stretcher getting rushed into the ER and I hear people calling my name. "Eric can you tell me what happened?" The doctors ask still rushing me into a room . " Yea we were driving and our light was green and a truck who's light was red and he ran it and hit my car on her side and now she needs your help so now can you fix her." I try to move but I get a sharp pain in m y side and i look down to see what it is and I see my shirt covered in blood and a cut in my side.  "Ohh Ms.Prior your awake we are going to have to put you asleep so we can give you some surgery on your side okay and try to not move there is a piece of metal from the accident."  

" Tris everything will be okay I will be here when you wake up." Eric says holding my hand until the doctor give me the shot that puts me to sleep and I drift off with the last thoughts being about my daughter.

I hear voices when I wake up. " Four I'm sorry I didn't see the truck coming and it wasn't my fault our light was green."  I can tell that it's Eric's voice.  " I don't care all I want to know is that she is okay right," and I know that it's voice belongs to Four. I try to sit up in my hospital bed and as I move I feel a pinch of pain that makes me groan and I give up on trying to sit up. I hear feet rushing over to me and a cold hand grabs on to my hand. I turn and I see Four there smiling at me.

" Hey there." Four says holding my hand and taking a seat next to me. 

" Hi, " I say with my voice coming out weak, " Four I'm not going to be here long it was just a surgery."

" Yea, but I wanted to make sure you didn't die or anything."

" Haha real funny." I say mocking him.

" You know even though you look tired and you have dark bags under your eyes and your fingers are sweaty and-"

" Okay Four I get it I look a mess."  He laughs and runs his other hand though my hair and smile.

" What I was going is that you still look beautiful to me Tris." Four smiles and kisses my forehead. "Now get some rest I'll be back later." Four gets up and walks out of the room I go to call for him but he is already out of the door.
