The lone wolf

Chapter 11

After a week of sailing we arrived at an island called Shabondy Archipelago. It was an island made up of many huge, overgrown trees. It had bubbles that emerged from the ground and floated upwards but popped once they got so high. Along our journey we picked up a couple of passengers, Camie the mermaid and Hachi the octopus fishman. It turns out some of the crew had a history with Hachi, he was part of a fishman pirate crew that had terrorised Namis village but after  we helped him and Camie escape from slave traders everything seems to be resolved to a level.

Once docked I left everyone to their own devices and decided to search the town areas of the archipelago. Grove 1 was busy with lots of people hustling and bustling around doing their usual duties. I popped into a near by restaurant to get a small something to eat and see what information I could pick up, as I ordered I heard a woman saying how rude I was to not take my hood down inside but she can suck it, really don't like showing my ears and tail round towns, draws to much attention. As I sat there eating I picked up on people's conversations, there was a large auction in the human auction house today and all eleven supernovas have arrived here at the same time. I've been doing research through the papers on the supernovas, I hope Luffy doesn't do anything stupid around them while we're here.

There seemed to be quite a spectacle happening outside as I exited the restaurant, Killer of the Kidd pirates and Urouge of the Monks of Destruction pirates were having a brawl in the middle of the town until X-drake of the drake pirates interrupted them and stopped the fight.

Law P.O.V
I was disappointed when X-drake stopped the fight, it was the only thing interesting at the moment. As he walked past I couldn't help but make a snide comment asking how many people he has killed. While waiting for the next event to kill my boredom Bepo started acting weird, he was continuously sniffing the air, staring intently at a particular individual it seemed. Following his gaze my eyes  settled on a young woman. She was nothing startling, average height with a long brown coat and black trousers and boots. She looked to be wandering aimlessly until she turned to face us. Her eyes held me. They were piercing green with the attentive and calculating look of a predator.
"What can you tell?" I questioned my first mate.
"Not a lot captain." Bepo answered. "She's not human, there is a canine smell to her."
Canine? I looked back to the girl and took in the rest of her facial features as she looked about. A smirk pulled at my lips as I recognised her from the wanted poster a few weeks ago. Hell Hound Sakura! This is interesting.

Sakura P.O.V
I idled by some crates as I listened in on a conversation regarding a bar fight, through the corner of my eye I saw someone approaching me. The man was tall and slender with a yellow hoodie baring a smiley face on it, his trousers were blue with black dots and his fluffy white hat had the same black dots. Trafalgar Law, The Surgeon of Death. Along side him was a polar bear in an orange jumpsuit and in the distance behind was his crew.
He walked straight up to me before speaking.
"Hell Hound Sakura of the Strawhat crew, am I correct?"
I gave a curt nod, "yes, just Sakura is fine. And you would be Trafalgar Law captain of the Heart pirates yes?"
A smirk spread across his face,
"Just Law is fine. I understand your species has extraordinary healing abilities." He stepped closer to me and gently pulled my hood so he could whisper in my ear," I've been eager to carry out some experiments."
His breath sent a shiver over my ear and down my neck, he leaned back hand still on my hood with a sadistic smirk and a gleam to his steel grey eyes. Before I could respond my hood was ripped from Law's hand and I was pulled back against something solid, looking up I saw Zoro's scowling face. His glare went right over my head and bored into Law. Zoro's eyes never strayed as he spoke,
"Everything alright here Sakura?" I nodded,
"Yes, we were just talking"
"You don't hold people's hoods when you just talk" Zoro growled.
Law gave a small chuckle, obviously enjoying Zoro's reaction,
"I just thought such a unique and fascinating creature shouldn't have to hide such remarkable features" at his words a small blush dusted my cheeks, Zoro noticed this and gritted his teeth while tightening his grip on me,
"Come on, let's find Luffy. We have more important things."
Law just smirked again as Zoro dragged me away before calling out,
"Will be seeing you again soon puppy-ya."
Zoro's hand twitched over his swords as he continued to guide me away from the town centre towards another grove.

We ended up going in circles for a bit but I didn't point out Zoro's bad directions as he seemed mad enough already, we walked a little more until Zoro suddenly stopped and turned towards me,
"Your not to go anywhere without me or near that guy again"
"WHAT!" I shouted, "what gives you the right to tell me what to do!"
"I didn't like the way he looked at you or held your hood, I'm only looking out for you." He responded.
"I can look after myself, I don't need a protector or someone telling me who I can talk too! I could have handled him myself you arrogant muscle head!"
Zoro glared at me and I glared right back,
"I don't like him and your never going near him again." Zoro hissed.
"I don't care" I growled back, "your my crew mate, not my parent or my partner so shut it and don't tell me what to do"
"FINE HAVE IT YOUR WAY YOU STUPID MUTT!",Zoro shouted,
"I WILL YOU ARROGANT MUSCLE HEAD!" I shouted back.
We both growled then marched off in opposite directions, muttering angrily about each other.

After stomping back to grove 1 fuming over Zoro trying to tell me what to do I sat down on a near by crate muttering to myself. Stupid idiot, wasn't going to talk to Law again anyway, he didn't need to try order me like a jealous boyfriend.....wait.......was he jealous? Ha! As if, I doubt Zoro sees me that way. Shaking the ridiculous thought from my head I started wandering around again till I heard a commotion near by. Walking towards the noise I saw Sanji, Nami, Chopper and Franky arguing with a man outside an auction house, I walked over to them and got Choppers attention,
"What's going on here?"
Chopper turned to me, tears started streaming from his eyes as he spoke,
"Camie got kidnapped and is now going to be sold as a slave unless we get her back!" He continued to cry over the loss of our new mermaid friend.
Damn.

So so so very sorry for the long time between updates, please forgive me 😭😭 and sorry if this chapter wasn't any good, please let me know what you all think.
