Mr. Sun came up and he smiled at me
Said it's gonna be a good one just wait and see
Jumped out of bed and I ran outside
Feeling so extra exsatisfied

It's the best day ever
(Best day ever)
It's the best day ever
(Best day ever)

I'm so busy got nothing to do
Spent the last two hours just tying my shoe
Every flower, every grain of sand
Is reaching out to shake my hand

It's the best day ever
(Best day ever)
It's the best day ever
(Best day ever)

"Shut Up Spongebob!." I yell into my pillow.
Seriously I hate waking up for school. Why does it even have to start so early.
I think it's pretty useless to get up so early in the morning to learn how to do
formulas and what not. I, Talia Almenez would much rather sleep.

After hitting the snooze on Spongebob three times, I'm seriously debating if I should
just skip school today all together. But suddenly my phone starts to ring.
It must be my best friend Sanna. We've been best friends since our freshmen year. We first met when we both had the same homeroom. We never really talked until we both noticed that we had almost the same class. I guess it all started with just asking about the work but it turned out we had a lot more in common. So ever since we've been inseparable. I've also became her driver since she didn't have her license yet. So every school morning she will give me a wake up call.

"Tally WAKE UP, it's 6:15!" Sanna says loudly through the phone.
"I'm not ready for life today!" I mumble into my pillow.

"Oh, stop being so dramatic. get your pretty little butt up and get ready for school
before we're late." Why does she hate me? "Fine! I'm up!" I say before hanging up.

After finally grasping enough energy to leave my oh so comfy bed, I head into my bathroom to start my morning ritual. First things first music! Then a nice hot shower. I honestly can't go anywhere without taking a shower first. If I don't then i'll feel gross the entire day.. Even if i'm running late, showering always comes first. After taking a shower, I head into my room to blow dry my medium length dark chocolate hair. Fixing my hair usually doesn't take long, just dry and straighten. Onto makeup! I don't wear a lot of make up, just cover-up powder, brows, mascara, and sometimes eyeliner when I feel like brightening up my dark brown eyes.

I throw on dark blue skinny jeans and a white loose v-neck shirt to complete my look.
Forty-five minutes later while singing Heart Attack by Demi Lovato. I'm finally done.

I hear a knock on my door. "Talia, mom said to come and eat breakfast." Jason says.
Ahh Jason Almenez, little pain in the butt brother. He may be younger than me but he is hella tall for a 13 year old. I don't know where he gets his height. I'm only a petite 5'0 ft. girl and he's like almost 5'11. I honestly think he might be adopted.

"Okay, I'll be down in a sec. " I say quickly before grabbing my bag, cellphone, and keys before heading down.

"Morning mom, dad." Heading over to kiss both of them on the cheek. "Jason" I say flatly while pushing him to the side. "Gee, love you to sis." He says sarcastically.

"Talia, sit down and have some pancakes."
"Sorry mom I gotta go or else I'm gonna be late."
"I'll see you later!." I say before grabbing a breakfast bar and heading out to pick up Sanna. It's a good thing she lives close to me and school isn't all that far either.
I pull up to a white single story house. Sanna lives with her mom and sister.

Her parents divorced when she was young. Her dad found a new wife and remarried.

She has step brothers but they don't exactly get along. Actually Sanna doesn't get along with either of her parents. She's pretty much had to grow up on her own, learn her own lessons. She's independent for a 17 1/2 year old girl.
