~Skylei's POV~
There was nothing. I was falling, plunging into cold darkness. There was a light at the bottom, but something told me to turn away. I turned and my vision shifted to the bloody stones, each resembling his eyes. The lifeless orbs bored into mine, and I was frozen. Screans rang out from all directions, yet mine was not one of them. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. The stones fell away into the raging creek, the metal around me falling through the cracks. I was suspended in the air, watching everything plunge back into darkness as I was yanked backwards into a new light. This light was hazy, and it was getting warm. I felt myself wrapped in something soft, and the screams faded to a constant beeping. The lights got brighter and I opened my eyes, the bright walls and fluorescent lights beaming. I winced at the sudden assault of light and everything began to hurt. Every muscle in my body ached in pain,.and my heart ached for River. I craned my neck painfully, looking for him. I couldn't see my true love anywhere. I didn't know where "anywhere" was. I looked around absentmindedly and recognized the enclosed space as a hospital room. I couldn't remember anything.
Where was River?
Where was Amber?
Where's my mum?
Where's EVERYONE?
I was all alone. I felt a severe pressure in my forehead as my head throbbed in my skull, feeling as if it were swollen to the size of a watermelon. My left arm felt cold. I glanced over and saw an I.V connected to my arm, a clear cool liquid flowing into my veins. I couldn't feel my neck, it was just numb. The only place I couldn't feel anything.

Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you that I got this idea from a true story. My grandfather and his best friend went through a horrific crash like this, and my grandfather's best friend was decapitated. It was just as gory as I made this story, I just changed the details a little. I just thought y'all might find this interesting.
