~LEXI'S POINT OF VIEW~

~the next day~

I was already dressed and prepared for school I was sitting on the porch waiting for Alex to come pick me up, my knight in shining armor , was now in full fledged over protective boyfriend mode since the whole Ethan thing and had insisted (I didn't have a say) on taking me to school every morning. I really didn't mind I secretly loved to extra attention, I also secretly loved the feisty side he showed yesterday .There was just something about him when he was so mad... My thoughts were interrupted by a loud rumble as Alex's car pulled up

"Your chariot awaits , mah lady." He said in a funny British accent while leaning out of the window,
I giggled and ran up to the car
"Hey hold on." He said as he hopped out to greet me with a big hug,
"You look really pretty." He added with a smile
"Why thank you" I replied mocking his British accent from earlier.
He held my hand and walked me around the car and oped the door for me.
"Such a gentleman." I said in a fake surprised voice and a gasp as I sat down. He laughed and closed the door. Before he could return to the drivers side I stole a chance to take in the sweet mixture of his cologne and new car smell that greeted me from inside .
I closed my eyes , breathed in and then let out a satisfied breath.
"All set?" He asked as he got in and closed the door
I nodded and we set off, I sat their watching him as he shifted gears... Just something about guys who drive stick..
"Hey Lex?" he said as he glanced over at me,
"Y-yeah?" I said shaking the spacey expression off my face
"Did you ask your parents if it was cool for you to come over after school?" His tone suggested that this wasn't the first time he had asked me that, I was probably too busy drooling over him before to notice
"Yeah they said it was okay." I replied
"Great." He said with a satisfied smile
The rest of the car ride was filled with talk, laughter and him complaining when I changed the station and turned up a taylor swift song.

~now in the school parking lot~

"You remember where to meet me after school?" He said as he turned off the ignition and looked at me

"Yes i know babe" i said said as i rolled my eyes pretending not to like him being protective . We had arranged to meet by the principles office and then i would walk with him to practice.
He looked down.. And his expression changed to a mixture of sad and serious.
"H-hey whats wron-"
"I just cant bare to see or even think about someone hurting you again Lexi." He said , his voice sounded worried and soft
"Hey don't worry about it my knight will be there to protect me." I said to him
"Yeah well what if i'm not? What if I didn't get there in time yesterda-"
I interrupted him by pulling him into me, i put my lips on him and gave him a big kiss.
I pulled away and opened my eyes , I stared into his beautiful brown orbs as a few tears began to build up in them.
" what matters is that you were there for me.. When i needed you most." My voice came out bit shaky but reassuring as i felt the warmth of some of my own tears run down my cheek.
"Now please stop worrying." I said again in my shaky voice.
He wiped his eyes and smiled at me
" thanks babe" he said
" i needed to hear that... Have a good day today baby girl." He said wiping my tears and then leaning in for another kiss.
We got out,
"Hey hold on to  these for me." He said as he tossed me his keys, which fumbled around in my uncoordinated hands before I finally caught then.
He chuckled at my little fumble,
" I don't wanna loose em when I'm changing for practice" he said
"Okay sure." I said putting his keys in my bag.
I secretly felt really proud he trusted me with his car keys, a huge grin crept on my face as we said good bye and headed our separate ways into the school, what class do i have first i asked myself as i walked head buried in my phone looking at my schedule

"looks like i have theater art- ouchh!" I exclaimed as i smacked my head into something solid.... someone solid...

I looked up and and saw a girl ...a very pretty girl at that, she had really nice long curly blonde hair and stunning blue eyes.
