Lily seemed very distrout one day and I desided to ask her when we where alone one day what was the matter. She alomst did not want to tell me I also told her she could tell me anything because I knew this was going to be a sensitive subject I told her she did not have to tell me if she did not feel okay with it. She told me no I have to tell someone and it would make it easier to tell you because of how close we are. I just sat there intensly listening hanging on every word she had to say. She told me her dad hits her for reasons she could not even understand. Her dad would drink all day and when lily came home...if she did she would be hit for things she could not even control like school lasting to long or she walked on the grass and other things she did not even know was a rule, she said her dad would make up rules after she did something just to hit her. She said she would be able to handle the hitting but not the touching if only she knew when and if it would end. I asked Lily if she wanted me to keep it to myself or if she wanted me to tell soemone, even though I already talked to my mom I just wanted to see where she stood. Lily said she wanted to be free but then again she did not want to, she said she wanted to be out of the house but she did not want to change schools or even move away from me. even though she knows whe move quite often, I even told her if it came to it that I am sure my parents would adopt her. I know lily and I would love that because she practicaly lived at the house now and if my parents adopted her she would never have a reason to leave. I wanted to know everything that was going on but then again at the same time I did not want to know anything as ong as my friend was safe. I decided to tell lily that I told my mom what happened and she was letting me talk to you first before she did anyhting because for all she knows nothing is happening. Lily freaked out "she knows! what does she think of me know?" I assured lily mom did not think of her diffrently if anything my mom thinks lily is a lot stronger than she thought. so together lily and I decided we where going to tell someone at school.
