I walked across the shifting ice . Every step It cracked a little more . I looked up to the sky as I lay on my stomach . My weight spread and evened itself across the thin ice I crawled on my stomach for a mile or at least what felt like one . I had just walked and crawled across the lake in my back yard ! I looked at my purple fingers and sighed . I looked back to my old house , nothing to look at really . Just a golden wood house on a glace like lake . The dock had a few boats and canoes still hooked to it.The sun slowly dipped behind the gray mountains and hills leaving the world in the moon's hands.
"Avril ! Avril ! Honey where are you !?"My mother's fake worried voice flooded my ears . I sprang up and she started freaking out . Running back and forth on the dock . It started to creek and crack just like the ice did when I tripped . She yelled at one of our many guess to call 911 to help me . I was fine , I was on land . The island I swim to every summer ! I built a little hut here in case I needed it , Trust me i used it a lot !
"Avril ! Don't move honey bear !" She yelped looking like she was going to have a heart attack . She should be on broad way ! I let out a snicker as Somebody yelled to us both while she still paced on the dock .
"Help is on the way Avril !" I waved and then stood up and walked to my house I built when I was 10 . It was 7 years old now and well-used ! I ran out of it when I heard a loud snapping noise and my mother's scream and what I saw never left me . Even though she did horrible things to me . This was The worst !

The sirens pierced my ears as people screamed and gasped . I stood their shocked , numb to the world . I have never felt an abuse worse than this ! She , the woman who hated me , hit me and put me threw near death situations just drowned in front of me . My palms just started to get clammy . I turned and grabbed a tree emptying my guts on it's roots.
