"Aye Knuck...gimme some more bass in that man!"

I watched as ma producer did as I requested. It was going on four in tha morning and we been at it all muthafuckin day tryna make this shit right.

"Aight Yung...That's it!" He said as we finished.

"Aight bruh" I spoke back into tha mic.

Fixin ma hat and grabbin up ma shit, I left out tha booth.

"Play it back fa ma one time!"

Knuck nodded his head before he flipped tha switch. The melody of the instrumental filled tha room as ma voice sang out the lyrics of my song entitled 'Soul Mate'.

"Damn Yung...this a monster right here!" He smiled an dapped me.

"Yea man...this tha one ta give me ma comeback." I nodded as I listened to ma lyrics as they describe every emotion literally, that I felt.

"Aight man...so torromow same time?"

"Nah bruh got some business ta take care of outta state"

"Aight goon...but you good though?"

"Yea bruh a nigga good and thanks man."

"For what?"

"Fa rockin with a nigga?"

"Mannnn...nigga we family. You don't turn ya back on family regardless"

"Yea man...aye give ma baybeh girls a kiss fa me!"

"Word goon." he laughed as we went our separate ways.

"Aye don't forget...Wedding this weekend bruh!"

"Ya know I won't!" He laughed.

I sat in ma car fa a min thinking if this is what a nigga really wanted ta do. I've been out of the music game for two years. A lot has changed and even though I've been gone, I still wrote. Letting out a heavy sigh, I started ma Audi an pulled off....
