De'javu all over again, life trapped on the repeating circle of time. Love and war a thread in nature, the battlefor pride. I have lost my faith to fate when her breathe drew thin before my eyes. Hidden in the shadows i found the heart to stand, I am led forth for the cry of justice, a battle won at the expense of my soul.
They sat quiet in the car for 30 minutes as they off the main road. "I will get off here" Anita said to Bruce. He looked out the window into the streets and then turned to her "Not a bad neighbourhood". She chuckled and placed her right hands on his check, "Bruce I know something is bothering you, you might not want to share it yet but if you ever need any help I will always be there for you". Then she kissed him slightly away from his lips and went out the car.
Bruce stayed back for a while looking at Anita as she walked off the street into the house on the fifth lane. Then he cranked up the engine and drove off.
When Ethan got back to his mansion late that night, he went straight to his bar and poured himself a cup of whiskey then went into his studies. "You put up quite a show tonight" He spoke as he turned on the lights. "Not the result I wanted, she should be dead." Gibson replied rotating the chair behind the desk. "Yes she will but not with Bruce and the others there to interfere," Ethan replied as he walked over to the window and looked outside. "Save your energy for that which is to come, as for Lynda" He sipped the glass of whiskey in his hand and continued "She will be getting what is coming to her." Gibson sighed. "I have sat back and watched for too long, my time is come and nothing will stand in my way" Ethan spoke is an angered shallow voice. Gibson laughed but was immediately shocked in the process by Ethan's fingers wrapped around his throat, he was thrown over from the chair and slammed into the floor just before he could let another breath out. "Do not mistake my intent for you as friendship boy!" Ethan spoke vexed at the condescending reaction of Gibson.
Ethan was the oldest of the elders and the younger brother to Dantomo (father). They had lived a thousand centuries and where not the best of friends either. Ethan had always felt inferior to Dantomo and at such lived under his shadow.
Ethan loosen his grip from Gibson's neck and straighten his suit and then towards the door, "Take the list on the table, those are you targets, put an end to those that stands in my way" he said to Gibson and then walked out of the studies. Gibson got on his feet, picked up the note from the desk, looked at it and dashed off.
