Unexpected love

Chapter 22:

Cole's POV:
I was sitting on the couch watching T.V. when my phone rang. I checked the called I.D. and saw it was Brittany, the girl who kissed me. I pressed except and said, "hello?" "Hey Cole!" she squealed. "Hey." "So what are you doing today?"she asked. "Um, actually nothing. Do you wanna come over?" "Sure! Be there in 10 minutes." "Ok. Bye." "Bye!" I hung up.
(Time skip: 20 minutes later)
Julia's POV:
Dana and I walked in the door laughing about some stupid joke he made and I saw Cole sitting on the couch. His arm was wrapped around some girl. I got a better look at her and recognized her as the girl who Cole cheated on me with. They were laughing at something and watching a movie. They hadn't realized we had walked in so they didn't acknowledge us. "Oh Cole, this is so scary," the girl said, burying her face in Cole's chest. Cole chuckled and pulled her closer. "It's okay babe," he said. My vision blurred with tears and I ran across the room and towards my room. "Julia wait!" I heard Dana say but ignored him and ran into my room, slamming the door.
Dana's POV:
"What's her problem?" The girl said, rolling her eyes. "Her problem is you! You know what Cole, you're unbelievable. You cheated on your girlfriend, and she came home to see you with the girl you cheated on her with. You're such a dick," I said running after Julia. I don't know where the sudden anger came from, I was just so pissed at Cole. How could he hurt her like that? I knocked on Julia's door. "Go away," she said. Her voice was quiet and sounded like she was crying. "Please Julia. Let me in. It's Dana," I begged. There was a silence. Then footsteps. The door opened. Julia was looking at her feet, her cheeks were tear stained. I pulled her into a hug. "Julia, you don't need him. He's such a jerk." She nodded into my chest. "It's just like, did he just forget everything we had together?" Her voice cracked. "I loved him- how can he just cheat on me like that?" Julia cried. "I know that was wrong of him," I said still holding her in my arms. "Thanks Dana, you're a great friend," Julia said with tears crashing down her face. "No problem," I said rubbing my hand up and down her arm. I was kind of upset that she only liked me as a friend, but I would have to deal with that for now.
Davids POV:
I came into the house seeing Cole with his arm around some girl. I just rolled my eyes and walked towards my room. I was walking past Julia's room when I saw Julia crying into Dana's arms. "Oh that's it," I said rushing into the living room. "What is your problem!" I yelled at cole. Cole stood up. "What, I'm not allowed to date someone?" Cole said. What an asshole. "Haven't you put Julia through enough?" I said. "She broke up with me," Cole said. "Yeah because you're an ass who cheated on her," I pushed him. He pushed me back. Cole raised a fist ready to punch me but Julia slid between us and pushed him back. "Don't you fucking touch him," Julia said. "Yeah and what are you gonna do?" Cole said right before Julia punched him right in the nose. "Oh my god Julia!" Dana stood there shocked for a minute. "Are you alright?" Dana asked. "No not really," Julia said holding her fist. "Aww my poor baby," the girl said rubbing Cole's back, "she's such a bitch." Julia stood there and slowly turned around, "what did you just call me?" Julia said gritting her teeth. "I called you a bitch," the girl said with her arms crossed and her eyebrow raised. Julia went to jump at her but dana and I held her back. "You have no idea what I've been through you nasty-" Julia yelled before getting cut off by Dana. "Julia stop, lets go, we don't need to be in here with them." Julia rolled her eyes, "fine." We pulled her back in her room. "Julia why did you do that?" I asked. "He was going to hit you," Julia said while dana got her ice. "I could of had him," I said. "I'm sorry, I didn't want him to hurt you," Julia said. Dana came back. "Here Julia, I hope your hand gets better," Dana said with a small smile. "Thanks Dana," Julia said. Dana sat next to her. "I'm gonna go in my room, thanks for standing up for me," I said. "No problem," Julia said.
