Chapter 5

Abigal's POV

It's been one week and Shawn and I haven't talked. It's not like he's making an effort. He's just been with Rachel.

This  day, I decided to dress up.I wore a pair of wedges and a skater dress.

I began to walk to school and I passed Shawn's house for the 13th time this week. This time, I saw his shadow against the window. I watched the shadow as it threw something against the wall. What happened? I know we weren't friends anymore but I still cared. I knocked on his front door.

" What do you want?" he asked coming out of the door introducing a messy man.

" I wanted to see if you were okay."

" Like you care." he rolled his eyes.

" Shawn I saw you throw something at the wall are you-"

" Now you spy on me too? Desprate much." he repeated the same action with his eyes.

" Whatever Shawn. Don't worry I won't care ever again. See you at school." I walked off.

Shawn's POV
Damn it. She still cared.  She came out of her way to see if I was a okay. And I was a total jerk. I was just heartbroken.

Rachel said I was her second choice. She wanted Chris, but Chris said he couldn't do that to me. I broke up with her.

I trudged to school staying clear of everyone. Then I saw her. Abigal. She looked beautiful today. She caught my gaze and quickly looked down. 

It was time for glee. I looked inside. The two most important people in the world stood on opposing sides of the room. Forcing me to sit in the middle.

" Anyone want to sing?" Mr. Morris asked.

I raised my hand. " Aw Shawn. We haven't heard you sing yet.

" This is um an original song I wrote."
