Never Be Alone ( Shawn Mendes Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Abigal's POV

Endings. In my oppinion, the most lethal word in the English dictionary. Why? Because endings bring such sorrow into the world. They say all good things come to an end. Why should they? I've had my definite share of failed relationships. Why though? Why do they have to spoil?

" Because life isn't perfect." my best friend leaned over my shoulder.

I slammed my diary shut. " I told you not to read my diary." I snapped.

" Then don't write in it in front of me, it's so tempting." He sighed dramatically. 

" How so?" my eyebrows knitted together.

" Because I want to know about you Abs. You keep everything so secretive, and locked up. We used to tell each other evrything. I love you, Abs." 

My heart fluttered for a second. I was madly in love with my best friend Shawn Mendes, but he was seeing someone else. His I love yous, meant absoloutley nothing. The end to my impossbile crush, was on I could bear to dismiss.

" Shawn, there are things I'm not ready to share with you." I crossed my arms.

" You're kidding me? Sometimes you can be so stubborn! Abigal, I deserve to know about you.  You know everything about me." he scolded.

" Fine." I picked up my diary ripped out every entry that had to do with my love for Shawn, and tossed it over to him.

" What's in those entries?" he questioned gesturing to the loose paper in my hands. 

" You know, crushes, boy stuff, drama. Boring stuff." I stuttered.

His face went blank. " You like somone?"

" Doesn't everyone? Your'e in love with Rachel-"

" Speaking of Rachel, I have a date so I gotta go."

 See another terrible ending to Shawn and I hanging out. I stood up for a hug, and we embraced.

Shawn stuffed something in his backpack, and picked up my diary. " I'm reading this."  

With that, he left.

Shawn's POV

As she leaned in for a hug, I reached behind her and took the entries she refused for me to see. 

As I began to drive, I carlessly flipped through the diary, with nothing of interest . I then unfolded one of the forbidden letters, and began to read.

Dear Diary,

         As much as I hate to admitt it, I am still to in love with Shawn.

         Then everything went black.

Abigal's POV

Shortly after Shawn left, I got a call from an unknown number.

" Hello?" I asked leaning against my bed frame.

" Is this Abigal Parker?" the voice asked.

" This is she. What's going on?"

" You were one of the only numbers  in Shawn Mendes' emergency contact list. I am sorry to imform you he has been in a car accident."

" What? Is he okay? How did it happen? Will he die? I'm on my way!" I cried slipping on my shoes.

" Miss you must calm down. We do not believe it is fatal, but he is in a temporary coma. His girlfriend, is already here so you can take your time. The address for the Hospital 123 Mullbery Lane."

" Thank you." I hung up and ran down the stairs to my car.

AT THE HOSPITAL

" Shawn Mendes please!" I begged as soon as I burst through the door.  

An old nurse pointed to a local door. 

" This is all your fault." I heard as soon as I walked into the room. 

Rachel.

" Excuse me?" I tucked a pice of hair back into my messy bun.

" This." she shoved paper in my face. " He was reading this when he got hit."

It was a diary entry. My diary entry.

" How did he get that?" I whispered.

" Don't play dumb with me. It's best if you leave."

" What? I just got here? I need to see him."

" There you see him. Immobile. And after this, he probably never wants to see you again." Rachel spit.

" I'll  leave just give me a few minutes with him."

Rachel rolled her eyes but left the room.

I bent next to the bed and held his hand. " Shawn, I am so sorry. I am a bit upset you took my entries, but that doesn't matter now.  As you know, I am madly in love with you. But, you have something special with Rachel, and I will not intrude. I have to leave now, but I hope you get well soon." with that I left a gentle kiss on his lips.

Shawn's POV
I heard Rachel yelling at Abigal. I wanted to wake up so bad and tell her that I took it, and it wasn't her fault. Honestly, Rachel seemed so mean. I don't have feelings for Abigal but it warmed my heart knowing she did.

  "Shawn, I am so sorry. I am a bit upset you took my entries, but that doesn't matter now. As you know, I am madly in love with you. But, you have something special with Rachel, and I will not intrude. I have to leave now, but I hope you get well soon."  Her sweet words were like music to my ears. She then left a kiss on my lips.  What? Sparks flew everywhere. What the heck? I wanted to wake up pull her close to me and kiss her again. But I couldn't because I had a girlfriend and I can't wake up. 

I heard her as she shuffled out of the room. I then heard a pair of heels clink in.

" Yes I know." I heard Rachel speaking probably on the phone. " I think she's a threat."
