"Now shoot it...there!" Cas jumped a bit at his sudden yelp, squeezing the trigger hastily and missing the target completely. Dean walked over and smirked. "I think I'm going to have to hide behind you while you do this." Castiel tilted his head, but said nothing. Dean cleared his throat, walking around him to his left side and looking at the gun. "Now turn on the safety." Cas did so. "Good, now take it apart and put it together, then shoot the target three times and put it away." Cas looked at him with wide eyes, taking in every word and soaking in the smooth roughness his voice had. "Cas? Cas!" Dean called out, waving his hand in front of his face. Cas snapped out of his imaginative trance and began to immediately fallow each direction Dean had given. Dean watched his hands move expertly in awe.
He was just starting to put it back together when Sam cleared his throat nervously. Dean spun around, swallowing all of the spit in his mouth and straightening his back some. "Dude, you're looking at your gun like it's a naked woman just screaming your name." Sam laughed too loudly, causing Cas to fumble with his fingers in surprise of the broken silence. He caught his pace back quickly, however, and was soon finished with putting it together and standing up to shoot. He stopped, turning to Dean and Sam.
"I can't shoot well, Dean."
"Well, you put my gun together so well," Dean said as he inspected the silver beauty. "I'm sure you can. Here, I'll show you." Dean placed Cas' hands correctly on the gun, standing behind him and moving his arms around, trying to find the right position. He slid his hand up Cas' arm, pointing to the barrel of the gun and breathing out, "Now, look there, see?'
"Yeah." Cas replied shakily.
"Calm down, it's okay, you won't kill anything." Dean soothed, holding his shoulder tenderly. "Now, look down the barrel and line it up with your target, then shoot." Cas regripped the gun, straightening up, his butt leaving it's place where it was nuzzled in Dean's hips. Dean coughed nervously as he hadn't realized where Cas' ass had been. "O- okay, now just um...pull the trigger. Keep your arms steady, brace-" Cas pulled the trigger, the sound rang through the air. He did it again, startling Dean. "Yourself." Dean added after the third bullet was fired. He looked at Cas, their noses centimeters apart and their breath tingling their skin. The clashing of blue and green was tense and for a moment Cas wasn't even sure his noodle was functioning. Dean looked quickly at the target, eyes widening and jaw dropping. There was one, large hole, and a small, regular sized hole where Dean had demonstrated.
"You're amazing, man!" Sam yelled from afar, smirking in an unable-to-remove-smile-stricken state. "Glad I listened to you, Dean!"
Dean let go of Cas, backing away and looking at the war-machine they'd recruited. Dean looked closely at the side of his neck, imagining what it would feel like to run his tongue across the scars that lie there, to kiss down his neck and to his chest, leaving marks anywhere he pleased. He shook the thoughts away, scolding himself and stepping back farther away. Sam walked up to them, looking between their staring contest with the biggest, most childish smile anyone could have ever seen. It was the smile of a younger sibling finding out you sneak out almost every night, and wanting to blackmail their older sibling for it; the ideas that ran through his head. He laughed a bit, breaking their silent trance. Dean pat Castiel on the back, feeling a string or something brush his hand. "Oh, sorry." Cas said, confusing Dean terribly.
