He glared at his gloomy reflection and all he saw was hatred, disgust at the pathetic being he was. How could he even stand to look at his wretched form? That had once bloomed with life. He was a shell of what once was a normal human being. He winced at the amount of weight he had lost since the..."incident." His now thin face welcomed a set of dark circles that hung under his lifeless blood shot eyes, that once viewed the world as a happy place and life couldn't have got any better. He had been accepted into the best college despite his partying lifestyle, he was surrounded by amazing and caring friends, but what really made his life perfect was his family. They held everything that was him together especially his... his sisters. They were so vibrant and full of life, but he learnt the hard way that life's a cruel bitch! That can easily shatter any resemblance of a perfect life and can leave you with nothing, but a broken family, distant friends that try to avoid you because of what they've done, and worst of all no sisters that would chase him if he scared the crap out of them with one of his infamous pranks. No he would wake up to nothing, but a empty dull house that was filled with memories of them that left a coldness within him that won't go away no matter how long he would how he would cling to Sam for hours and just cry into the softness of her neck. It was stupid. me sat there crying and Sam trying to hush my persistent tears as best as she could, she's the only one that cared really, well except Chris, but now even that friendship has turned awkward because all I want to do is cry or just mindlessly watch TV shows that the twins used to watch. He would sit for hours in Hanna's or Beth's room and just try to remember every single moment they had shared. His parents didn't help they were barley home always up in the mountain trying to convince the police to continue the search. Everybody says I should try to forget and move on with my, "life." Ha! What life? He couldn't forget them... No he wouldn't forget and fuck anyone who says differently! It was his fault they were gone. He shouldn't have drank so much, but he couldn't have known what would have happened. Those stupid fucks' ! we had invited them to our lodge and how do they repay us by sending my sisters to their deaths is how, it's why they don't bother talking to me especially Mike how he tried to play my sister he's lucky if he doesn't see me again.
He splashed the cold water on his face to try to get rid of the dark thoughts that littered his mind. He took a plush towel and dried his face with it, the softness felt foreign to his skin. As he raised his lowered eyes he caught something in the reflection of the mirror. His thoughts raced through his head as his eyes widen with fear and shock. No it couldn't be, no! Behind him stood his sisters so alike in appearances, but so different in personality. He whirled around to see his still living sister a smile gifted his face. They were alive, but his smile faltered as he noticed their disastrous appearance. They were covered in blood and their clothes homed various of cuts and rips. Their eyes stared cold and accusingly at him. They called him names at first like weak, pathetic. This wasn't real, but they were right he was weak. Tears slid silently down his unshaven, pale face and his scabbed hands violently gripped his grimy and tousled hair. He screamed them, "No you're not real! Leave me alone, please." Ignoring his pleas Hanna first spoke, but her voice was broken as tears ran down her face leaving a clear trail on her bloodied face. She reached out for him and her eyes stared accusingly at him.
"Why Josh, why didn't you save us, don't you care that you left us?
He cowered away from her outstretched arm. "No...No please, I...I didn-"
The harshness in Beth's booming voice cut across his meek one as she shouted at him anger and hatred clear in her tone.
"You left us to die!"
"No, no, no!"
He kept repeating the words over and over again as his tears flowed more freely and the grip in his hair tightened making him pull chunks of his hair out. He collapsed onto the bathroom floor and clawed at his face with his nails trying to make them stop looking at him, why wont they stop? The coldness of the white tiles was a welcomed change to his heated and bloodied face. He curled his weak frame into a small ball and blocked the fickle world out from his head. He blocked the twins cold glares as they stood above him judging him and he blocked the shouting and banging coming behind the looked bathroom door that was followed with a crashing sound of the door being smashed open revelling the crying, worried face of his mom, his concerned looking dad who look flustered as he rubbed his aching shoulder and... Sam who looked like an angel as a look of concern clouded her beautiful face. His vision blurred as his dad came running over to him, then it went dark.
