OH WONDER
Scratchy dresses and heels higher than Dolly Parton's hair were something that was going to take some time for Bridgette to get used to. Those and several other things like hot showers, curling irons, and an actually bed to sleep on.
Even though Bridgette Queen's outward appearance plays a major part in living up to the previous social standards she had set pre island, she drew the line at the way her mother had her dressed now. She was wearing a pink suit, the pants exchanged for a skirt reaching her knees and some white heels matching the embroidering on the outfit.
And said outfit was the reason Bridgette and Thea were out right now boutique hopping, and re breaking in her black card.
The two sisters currently stood side by side sifting through a rack of cream and pastel colored sun dresses. "You know it's been ages since I've been to a party and I heard somewhere that you love to party so what do you think about crashing that welcome home bash Tommy is throwing for Ollie on Saturday?"
Thea smiled and pulled out a blue dress to add to the pile waiting for them in the dressing room. "Sounds like a plan, I have some friends there I'd love for you to meet. It feels so weird mentioning names and you not knowing who I'm talking about."
"We used to tell each other everything." Bridgette smiled softly remembering the countless amount all nighters they'd pulled.
"You were my best friend and then you were gone." Thea's happy demeanor she had been sporting all after noon was now replaced with a solemn one that seemed to grace her face far too often.
Bridgette stepped forward pulling her little sister into a hug. "I'm back now, and I swear I'll never leave you again."

"Bridgette! Get in the life boat!" Robert Queen yelled across the deck. The storm had taken a turn for the worst. The rough waves that rocked the yacht had turned massive and were beginning to capsize the boat.
Bridgette ran over avoiding falling objects. Once reaching her father she grabbed a hold of him. "Dad what about Ollie?"
Robert guided her into the life boat with him and another member of the crew. "He's okay and so are we."
Bridgette watched as one final wave crashed over them and with a flicker of the lights the boat began to sink at a remarkably quick pace. She didn't know where to look or what to think so she settled for gripping onto her father for dear life.
"Oliver!" Her dad began to yell her brothers name. "Oliver!"
Bridgette made out a figure thrashing around in the water who she could only assume was Oliver. Her suspicion was confirmed when her father let go of her to pull him onto the raft with them.
He fought Robert yelling about Sara and how they had to save her. But their father only shoved him away from the edge of the boat towards Bridgette who immediately pulled him close to her hugging him.
She knew there was no saving Sara, there was no saving any of them.

Bridgette sat on her brother's desk as he did research, on what he failed to mention. She was in a particularly good mood after having returned shopping and finally getting to change into a black skirt and leather jacket in the same shade of cream as her stiletto ankle boots. She sighed scanning the room before her eyes landed on a picture of Laurel Lance on his desk. Bridgette picked it up studying it before scoffing and rolling her eyes. "Really Oliver, You couldn't take this down? I mean according to Thea she pretty much hates your guts. So if I were you I'd let it go."
