happy reading! :)~~~~
Niall wiped the sweat from his forehead and kept hitting the ball against the wall. (A/N- hah, that rhymed :D) It was the fifth time he lost since morning.
"Seriously Niall, you should just give up. You know you can't beat Liam." Harry said, sipping on his water.
Louis nodded and cleaned the sweat on the back of his neck with a towel. "Harry is right, N. Just stop it. Payno would never let you win."
Liam kept jumping around the room, hitting the ball perfectly every single time. "Maybe you should actually leave it, Nialler." He laughed, and winked at Niall playfully.
"No way in hell." Niall gasped. His cheeks were as red as a tomato. As was his neck. The freckles spread across his cheeks now more prominent than ever.
As the boys kept playing their 6th game of Squash, somebody's phone went off.
"Liam, it's yours." Zayn said through the door that separated the playing area, and the seating area.
"Yeah, I'm coming." Liam yelled back. He turned to Niall. "Hold that, Ni." Niall nodded and slumped in the chair, drinking water.
"You look as red as period blood." Harry laughed, pointing at Niall.
"Not funny, Haz." The blonde haired sweetheart scoffed.
Liam just laughed at his best friends and drank water from his sipper, retreiving his golden iPhone from his duffle bag.
Amelia. It read across the screen. He knew he had been called him.
As soon as he was about to pick up, the ringing stopped and instead a message popped on his phone.
Dad wants you here, now. It's important. - A. x
"Guys! It's Dad, I have to go." He yelled and just then, all the boys came next to him.
"Okay, we'll see you."
"Yeah, bye man."
"See ya, brother."Were the replies.
Niall was still in the playing area, trying to cool himself off. Liam couldn't help but laugh looking at Niall, he was leaning back against his chair, with his hair sweaty and wild. His eyes closed and his cheeks still deeply flushed.
"Are we continuing?" Niall asked, now looking at Liam.
Liam laughed and shook his head. "Nah, need to go. Dad wants me home." He hugged Niall. "You got it, Ni." He chuckled, referring to the sixth un-finished game of Squash.
Liam bid goodbye to all his best friends and drove directly to his Payne Corps after taking a shower and changing in the locker room.
He got inside the office building. Maria, the kind old lady at the front desk immediately recognizing him. "Liam! It's so good to see you, my boy. My my, look at you! All grown and handsome now!" She gushed and hugged Liam close.
Liam laughed. "You don't look to bad yourself, too, Maria. Looking really fit." He smirked a flirtatious smirk at the old lady.
"Oh, Liam!" Maria blushed anf hit his chest playfully.
"Is Dad in his office?" Liam asked, smiling widely.
"Yes, he wanted to see you."
"Right. I'll be off now. It was good to see you, Maria." He smiled one last time and went upstairs.
